i just re-installed it and still the same should i uninstall first then try again?

have now uninstalled then re-installed still the same, getting a tad confused now

Have you changed your gfx files Charlie like the Misc folder inside the gfx folder.

Charlie Check your Icon Folder do you have a JUMP.png you should have two one white bar with Gold writing going down saying Jump and a blue dot one also do you have a Trap.png towards the bottom which will say start when you click to look at.

Gray m8 i feel so foolish and you've clearly just spent some time trying to work things out for me....after hours of uninstalling and installing and updating patches....the answer was right in front of me all the time...i apologize and thank you very much for your efforts, it's sorted now thank god,

when i started a new game i realized that 'game setting - simple training model' was unchecked!!! what a doofus, but to be fair i would never have guessed that to be the problem
