Today I am launching a new channel on you tube.
The inaugural series is of course Starters Orders 6.
The first video starts in season 9 with a stable size of 73. In this video I will also be looking at declarations, the stable set up, my modified schedule, trainer names, jockey names, and of course silks. The video will be giving help and advice throughout. I will also be talking about the on-line league, exploding a few myths about being competitive.
The series will be more geared to showcasing the races themselves and each video will feature 'a day at the races' style format. There will be commentary on each race and for my runners, a jockey mode feature. I aim to upload between one and three videos per day.
I hope this series will encourage people to buy the game and compete in the league. Any support would be welcome, including subscribing (it's free), likes and comments. Note:
Horses can be from any stable in the game.
* Each player will have their own stable, chosen from the game horses by you the player.
* The stable will be split into two groups, five colts and five fillies (maximum).
* Points will be scored for victories and placed efforts, with bonus points depending on starting prices. Only points scored whilst the horse is in your stable will count.
* You will be allowed ten transfers per season, but must retain a maximum of five colts and five fillies in the current yard.
* Transferred horses will retain points scored and these will be added to the overall stable score.
* To put a horse in your stable simply post your choice in this thread, similarly if you wish to transfer, just post the names of the two horses.
Place Points:
1. 10pts,
2. 5pts,
3. 3pts,
4. 1pt.
Bonus points for 1st place:
5-1+ 1pt,
10-1+ 3pts,
20-1+ 5pts,
33-1+ 10pts,
66-1+ 20pts
The competition is ongoing so just join when you like. Early starters will be at an advantage.
Round 1 ends on November 5th in the game.
A new round will commence the following season.
