Hi Steve I didn't play this version but I have played many versions the first one on my Amiga which is still my favourite I know the graphics have come along way since those days just wandering are you planning on buying Civ 6 when it comes out because I will lol but just watched the video never knew CIV 5 was out I got CIV 4 but got really bored with it was CIV 5 better than CIV4?

Hi Gray,

Yes will being buying Civ 6 but at the moment it is £50 which a bit much for a computer game. Will probably wait a bit.

Civilization 5 was a disaster when it first came out, but as usual Firaxis patched it and with the expansion packs in particular brave new world, made this in my opinion the best civ yet.

I have watched a few you tubers playing but they wimp out a bit, with seven or eight opponents, best to crank up the civilizations and city states to full. It's pretty hard to stop a civ on another continent once it starts taking over - even on King it's a challenge.

I have played all the civilizations right from the first one like you.

There are few games on the horizon, including Planet Coaster which looks amazing - have already pre-ordered that one.

Thanks Paul, it was a choice between Newcastle and Villa for the Championship team even though I am Preston fan, will do them in a private save.
Might do a few more teams once I get Aston Villa relegated! To be fair though they do look to have a strong squad for this division.
Cities Skylines is a lot of fun, but a constant battle with my OCD, everything has top be bloody perfect.
Watch out for the new Civilization 6 and Planet Coaster (which looks amazing) coming in November.
Only trouble is I might need to splash out on a new computer to keep up.
