Even in SO5, the times did not line up right. I ran a 1 1/4 race in about a minute and a half, when in real life it should be about 2 minutes and the game even said that it was two minutes. Also, take into account that the race itself is in slow motion kinda at the beginning, which could account for the time difference.

Also, the timer doesn't start until a little bit after the horses leave the starting gate, like in real life. So account for about a second difference.

the horses were too quick the 1 mile/1m 2f /1m4f times were mental, would've been stupid to see sub 1.30/2.00/2.20 I think 1 of the patches sorted this so it evened out, also the distance races seemed a bit slow don't expect to see those 3 times beaten anytime soon think the times will need to be reset when the game comes out of beta

I agree once the game is fully released (Final Version) a New list of records will start TBH i can't get near any of these times now

So I clocked the Kentucky Derby and got early fractions that were similar, but then the game clock lost a few seconds. The race was run on a fast dirt track on a near perfect Churchill Downs model (the one I made for Start It). I also then clocked the 2014 Derby the same way that I did in game to compare. The game speed seems to be actually about right but the ingame clock is wrong.

I think it is a very good portrayal of times, much better than in SO5 when the Derby took only a minute and a half to watch. The actual in game time now is 2:01.22 (average for this trial) which is realistic for a Derby, actually better than the average for the past 5 years, yet the game says it is 2:05.20, a full 4 seconds slower. At least the time to watch the race is right. The in game times however need to reflect that. It shouldn't be too hard to implement a timing system into the game, instead of basing it off of speed. Also some variation in furlong speeds is needed. Running each furlong in 11 to 12 seconds isn't the best. I would like to see some 10 and 13 second fractions also.

Yes definitely times are much slower than the earlier versions of SO6 (Beta)

I Hold the record for the 2yo mile time LADY SLIP set a time of 136.36
She is much more inferior to my 2yo Called Italic who runs a Mile in 137.75

So Once we are out of Beta A new list of record times will be started

:lol: i just did a 1.07.40 6f with my three year old filly Slim Starlit in a G1, so we can still run some quick times in the latest patch .913

For what it's worth - On a user made track. The fastest 1m 1f time I've ever put up in the SO series...

1:47.72 on an even standard dirt surface.

Just got this little peach for my breeding over 1m. I'm only playing a mile game at the minute, she won 7 from 7 in the game, and also wins my trials in CK, just a shame its not a colt
