I think support for head tracking using Track IR, Trackhat or even the very cheap Facetrack NoIR would be pretty cool for Starters Orders 7. Last weekend I was fortunate enough to visit my son who has an Occulus Rift and while he has no interest in horse racing games he was gracious enough to let me try Starters Orders 6 with the Occulus Rift and I must say that riding the horses and looking around at the whole track environment was truly something special. Particularly without having to press keys to make sideways head movements. Purchasing a rift though for myself is way too expensive. So Mark what about a support setting for head tracking software when in riding mode? They have it for many other cockpit car racing and flight simulator games, so why not aboard a horse as well? I personally think it would be a poor mans answer to the occulus rift. |
