Post Long distance 2YO races
On the default schedule there are now 2YO over 1m2 at the end of season.

Has this been done on purpose or is it a mistake?

The 1m2f races for 2yo are fine towards the end of the year (usually from around October onwards), but I’m not aware of any races of 1m3f or beyond for 2yo in real life.

Surely anything over 1m 2f for 2YOs should be removed, it's just unrealistic. Even the 1m 2f races should be extremely rare.

I think Mark added these a few patches ago to address complaints on the forum about 2yo non sprinters that were not getting any races as a 2yo.

... and guess what? It still didn't solve the problem!

Never asked for it, and never thought it would be the correct way to go about it.

But hey, Mark knows best.

Game still broken.

Yeah, the 2yo races of 1m3f and beyond should definitely be removed.

I wouldn't say the 1m2f races should be extremely rare though. From late September to early November (the end of the turf season) in real life, you now get at least four or five races every week over 1m1f or 1m2f for 2yo. Not quite so many after the turf season ends, but still at least one or two a week on the all-weather during the rest of Nov and Dec.

In terms of the game, this should probably translate to at least one or two races per week over these distances from October onwards.

I tell you what Teleprompter, I'm getting tired of this, so, would you please write a horse racing simulation game, and, if it is equal to or better than SO7, I promise to buy it, if not, then, yes Mark does know best as it is his game, he wrote it, and, he didn't force anyone to buy it. You could have waited until after Beta, you chose not to. I have had my say on things I think need to be addressed, and, hopefully over time they will be, or the biggest majority of them. At no point have I implied I know best, and I have never said that writing a game like this is easy. I have a daughter who is currently in her second year of a degree in writing computer games (that's not the real title, but I can't recall what it actually is called) and a son who has completed the same degree a few years past. I can assure you, producing a game of the quality and complexity of SO7 is not easy, but, if you feel you know best, as your comment about Mark and the roll eyes emoji seems to imply, then my promise stands, I will buy your game also when you've written it, no doubt it will only take you a day or two as these things are so easy?

Completely agree, everyone on your (teleprompter) comments is childish and petty, the game is not broken. You asked for something that no one else thought was the solution to a problem, most importantly Mark.

Game is broken. Just my opinion, and yes I am entitled to that opinion.

I couldn't care less what you or anyone else thinks.

Glad you agree there is a problem though.

Everyone is aware that there can be improvements to th AI entries, including Mark, and I'm sure there are always ongoing efforts in this department, this is more the case than it being a problem.
