Post subject:  SO6 Converter Tool adds EXTFIELDSPEC 'Home' Flag

Hi Mark,

I'm just going through the featureRace files I put through the conversion tool and realising that all my international races were marked as <EXTFIELDSPEC>home, even though I definitely didn't put that in, because well, they're international races :lol:

I think this is why the races in other countries were so empty when I ran through a test season, so can that be changed? Especially since in the manual it states that that flag is "Rarely used". Since all the other info is correct and if it converts properly it means there aren't any errors in your race file, people might not realise that is happening.

Either that or maybe an update to the manual to say that the flag gets added?

I recently made an Australia based schedule that includes all the stakes from New Zealand and all the biggest features from every other country. Most of the foreign races have the home tag and the races usually have nice size fields. Does your schedule have a decent foreign pool percentage? What about numbers of Trainers/Jockeys for the foreign countries? That might make a difference.

The specs for my schedule look like this...

[pool]7500
[fpoolperc]25
[secondary_nat]Canada, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Ireland, Japan, New Zealand, South Africa, Singapore, Dubai, United Kingdom, United States
[sec_trainers_max]can=20,fr=20,ger=11,hk=20,ire=20,jap=20,nz=20,sa=20,sgp=20,uae=15,uk=20,usa=20
[sec_jockeys_max]can=20,fr=20,ger=11,hk=20,ire=20,jap=20,nz=20,sa=20,sgp=20,uae=15,uk=20,usa=20
start=213
end=212
