:D

I've noticed a couple of things happening, the first one before the new patch but still occuring. The second one only since the patch, but it might well be unrelated.

First issue is frequent crashing when in decs, under the following conditions. I deliberately remove a dog from a race. I then spot another race I want him in but when I click on the race to enter him, bingo and wipeout.

Second prob. is particularly strange, as it only appears to effect 275m races. I have two top class 275 runners. On more than one occasion, they have won their semi finals. Come the final, neither are in it - and no race clashing either !!

Finally, on the subject of semi finals, does anyone else find that if they are lucky enough to get, say, three runners through to the semis, they are all lumped in the same semi? Happens so frequently in my case that it seems to be way beyond the pure laws of chance.

Would be some right, rollicking complaints to racing managers if that consistently occured in real life !!

Thanks for the report. I'll look into this. If anything else comes to light that may help me replicate the problem let me know.

Regarding the semi's question the qualifying dogs from the heats are allocated to races based on a formulae and not randomly. I forget exactly how it works but the intention was to evenly distribute dogs based on their finishing position (so, for example, you do not end up with all (heat) winners in a single semi).

Thanks Mark. If the "275" problem in particular re-occurs, I will post the exact circumstances.

Kenny - was the declarations crash in version 1.00 or 1.01? There was a problem in 1.00 as you describe but it was fixed in 1.01.

Mark, it was in 1.01 and still there when I downloaded 1.02 only a week or so ago. Can't recollect it being apparent in 1.00. (although I did have the breeding bug crash with 1.00 but seems to be fixed now).

Wouldn't have thought this could be relevant but just to give one example, I had three dogs in the 525 Olympic final at Hove but one was really more suited to 625 and the other two were fast, 525 specialists. I removed him in decs then immediately clicked a 625 open - crash. I'm racing now and will deliberately try it again and post back if anything occurs.

Post subject:  Decs Crash

Morning Mark. Just to let you know that the decs crash has just occured again. I had a dog who wants fast ground in a showery 450 trial. In decs I had noticed a later trial on dry going. I removed the dog from trial one then clicked on 450 in the distance selection field. As soon as I clicked 450, it crashed without even bringing up the 450 selections.

Once again, lost all my previous wins and entries since start of this session !

Testing so far has not shown a problem. Please email (to support@greyhoundmanager.com) further details:

1. What game date did the crash occur on?
2. What date was the race you were removing?
3. What date was the race you clicked on to cause the crash?
4. How many other decs did this dog have?
5. Did you have any race filters set at the time (distance etc.)?

And anything else that comes to mind that could help me replicate the problem.

Morning Mark. I've re-sent it now, timed at 10.21.

(It mentions another breeding barn crash as well and I've just had yet another one of those this morning !)
