Post greyhound trials - enter now
Guys I will run some trials and this is how they will go

275m heats and final (no semi) winners will progress straight to final. fastest 2nd's will also make it (if there is a tie then i will do a race off)

450m heats and final - same system as above

475m Heats and final - same system as above

525m heats and final - same system as above

875m heats and final - same system as above

maximum 3 dogs can be entered per distance. and cannot be used in more then one distance (basically dogs name can only appear once regardless of age)

All races to be conducted at Wimbeldon on a +10 track

Send through your dogs to warpedeq@hotmail.com please zip the file and send a note with it telling me what dogs to put where. once i get a few nominations i will run the race and post results. If it all goes smooth them will run more over different distances.

there was not enough dogs nominated for heats and i guess some more work needs to be done with some.

I guess maybe we should focus on a single distance next time? Anyone got ideas for a good distance?

I know it is a bit sad but the below schedule is based on a selection from the British greyhound calander, how about doing one once a week.

The Coral On TV Marathon - 750m Romford Stadium
The Williamhill.com Greyhound Derby 2010 - 480m Wimbledon Stadium
TV Trophy - 850m Kinsley Stadium
The SkyBet Gymcrack - 480m Hall Green Stadium
The Stadium Bookmakers Sprint Trophy - 305m Nottingham Stadium
The Stadium Bookmakers Puppy Oaks - 480m Nottingham Stadium (1 year olds)
The Yorkshire Stayers - 655m Kinsley Stadium
The Coral Greyhound Olympic - 515m Brighton & Hove Stadium
The Stan James Bookmakers Pall Mall - 450m Oxford Stadium
The WilliamHill.com Festival Flyer Stakes - 261m Sunderland Stadium
The WilliamHill.com Puppy Plate - 450m Sunderland Stadium (1 year olds)
Williamhill.com Grand National - 480mH Wimbledon Stadium
The WilliamHill.com Grand Prix - 640m Sunderland Stadium
The Nottingham Produce Stakes 2010 - 500m Nottingham Stadium

just an idea

at the moment the trials are not really being supported. I believe this is because they have been promised so many times in the past and never delivered.

I sent mark an email a couple weeks ago in regards to linking this game to members on my website. If we can work out some kinda deal there then these races i think will really take off.

Mark did indicate about gm2 but i still think it's a long way off if it ever happens.

Also living in australia i have no idea what races are coming up in the uk. I dont really play gm any more but i have exported something like 150 dogs (forgot to export some of the greats also though which sucks)

Anyways if you know people who have the game and wnat more of a challenge then direct my email addy to them and get them to send me dogs and we can race them.

If sending through more then 1 dog then just zip the files and send me a note as to what dogs go in what distances.
