Post The Greyhound Pro League's New Home is In Construction...
The Greyhound Pro League has had a rough time of it through its Trials, Exhibition and Inaugural Season. We discovered that in order to run the league in a way that would be fun for the competitors, the amount of manual labor involved was astronomical for staff members. I knew the only solution for having a successful league for this remarkable game, was to transfer it to the Trainers Office Manager in the Online Racing League World (

The Trainers Office Manager (TOM) was created by ORLWorld member DodgyDave in an attempt to remove much of the manual labor the staff had been involved in the running of the Starters Orders Pro League, which utilizes Mark Loveday's Starters Orders games. This revolutionized the SOPL so much that it is now the longest running league (8 seasons) in the 6 year history of the ORLWorld. The Greyhound League was in desparate need of such a system as well.

In the GPL Inaugural Season forum there is a thread pinned at the top named Warning - TOM construction zone! Dodgy Dave and I have been informing the GPL members of the progress in constructing a new area in TOM for this new to operate in. It is pretty exciting. When Dave has completed the construction, GPL members will be able to sign on and begin beta testing the new system so that any kinks can be rooted out. Then we will begin an exciting new season in the GPL.
