Post Competition: Swindon Arc 475m - to be run Sunday 26th Feb
Hi all,

I would like to announce the first of 2 competitions I am prepared to run open to everybody of all standards of GM2 players.

1st Competition will be the Swindon Arc over 475m (random going)

Rules of entry:

1) Closing date shall be Saturday 25th February 2012
2) A maximum of 6 dogs can be entered by each 'trainer'
3) Greyhound files should be e-mailed to lee.calcutt@hotmail.co.uk before the closing date
4) I will post the first round draw on the GM2 forum website showing greyhound name and trainer name (I know some players like me missed the 'entering of the trainers name' and they just show as player 1.
5) I will run the heats through to the final and post the results of each race on the forum by the evening of Sunday 26th February.
6) I have a new piece of software where I can record the races 'live' so I will try and do this for the semi-finals and finals

I think this will be a good bit of fun for all and I have seen that there have been a number of new members on the GM2 forum recently expressing interest.

Any questions please feel free to e-mail me.

Kind regards,

Lee

Hi Tony,

To export a dog you should go within the dog profile and hit 'Export'. The computer file path will then be shown in the middle of the screen (see below).

Then you can go to the file and copy these to your desktop to be able to attach to an e-mail to forward to me :-)

Hope this help?

Kind regards,

Lee

I love the game, but have recently started playing SO4.

GM is much better though, but my passion is greyhound racing still know very little about horse racing.

I love the greyhounds, play GM1 but with the problems floating about regarding GM2 it just puts me off from purchasing it unless a patch comes out that fixes a lot of the problems or Mark announces that once he has finished with SO5 that he will concentrate on a GM3.

I remember you saying before but GM2 is 200% better than GM1.

None of the 'buggy' issues really bother me tbh.

What bugs have you noticed Lee and what schedule do you use. So you have played GM1 before?

Hi,

I believe I use the games own schedule, though I might be wrong, I only have the game trainers and not the 'real life' trainers games.

Thje main bugs in the game, though they do not stop me playing the game are:

1. When clicking on the lineage button I get kicked out of the game. This is annoying if you have done 6 months of game and you accidently click it you loose all the unsaved game play
2. Its frustrating that all competitions are for 36 rounds and 3 round competitions, this could be varied to me more real-life.

Nobody should deter from buying the game because of these faults and they may only appear in my game :-)

Kind regards,

Lee

I have that same problem...also not being able to look at old breeding lines is not good ...theres a couple more bugs aswell ....oh yeah some people got a buggy trap bar that makes there dogs get out quicker...thats the worse bug :(

I too have the bug with the breeding lineage.

A couple of other small things, but dont let that deter you.

If you have more than a passing interest in the hounds, you must buy!

Disappointingly only 4 people have entered.

Please find the entries, I have given each dog a 2 dog trial and the anti-post prices :-)

I will be running the races this afternoon.

Kind regards,
