Mj and Paul what did they pay out.

Only did a 50 cent for fun ticket (cost $36). Paid $78.85.
Now hopefully I can hit 6 straight home and take home a Pick 6! *knocks on wood*

Breeders Cup Sprint

http://www.brisnet.com/php/bw_pdf_viewer.php?track=SA&race=10&param1=7150&param2=65&param3=1671620

This will be an exciting race. Palace has won all the right races this year to make him a serious contender here. The True North, A G Vanderbilt and The Forego. He has run a nice prep in the Vosburgh that was not too taxing that sets him up well for this. Secret Circle has a curiously light schedule for a dual Breeders Cup winner. Should be there today. Work All Week is as game as they come. Mico Margarita can grab a share late.

Palace - Looks good to me - 6th

Secret Circle - So good he can run in only 2 races a year? - 2nd

Work All Week - Hard knocking gelding - 1st

Breeders Cup Mile

Looks like a European affair to me. Toronado is all the class and looks ready to run on paper. Anodin from what I can tell from his last race replay (French racing has the worst camera angles in all of racing) encountered a lot of trouble but came running nicely when clear. Karakontie is here off that terrible last race. Why? Could surprise. Veda. The Aga Khan doesn't run just for the hell of it.

Toronado - Classy - 8th

Anodin - Should be a nice price - 2nd

Karakontie - Post a worry - 1st

Breeders Cup Classic

The big race features a full field which is unusual lately. Tonalist looks to me like a good thing. 2nd time blinkers off will help even more. Best bet material?? I like him a lot here. Imperative has rapidly improved for his trainer who is not a miracle worker. He is running very well now and it looks like dirt is the key. Dettori is a plus too. Shared Belief is good but how good?

Tonalist - Will be right there

Imperative - Very live longshot

Shared Belief - Makes me pay for my insolence?

for your ease mj...

Conquest Eclipse
Stephanie's Kitten
Leigh Court
Ambitious Brew
Carpe Diem
Big John B
Palace
Toronado
Tonalist

I know I was gutted, I've been following her since she was a apprentice at laurel/Pimlico. Even in her first year u could tell she was special, unlike any other women jock. She was on the Tv before the Kentucky derby and she kind of gave a hint then but she's still young and at the top of the game, I suppose she wants to be a mum more than a jock.

Gunna share with y'all my Classic coverage. View it on my blog at the following address:
http://horseracingstation.wordpress.com/2014/10/30/2014-breeders-cup-classic-analysis/

I can't help but like Toast of New York. Everyone is looking so much into how he has never run on dirt and seems to only be a synthetic horse, however Declaration of War, last year, never ran on dirt before and in his only start in the States and on dirt, he finished second in the Classic. Toast of New York has faced these horses already, and almost beat an amazing Shared Belief in the Pacific Classic. I see Shared Belief as more of a synthetic horse than as a dirt horse. Yes he is proven on dirt, but he was very close to losing in the Awesome Again. Los Alamitos was a very biased track so no wonder he was able to get by easily. I love Shared Belief very much and belief he deserves to get the horse of the year award, unless Tonalist or California Chrome dominated or Shared Belief finshes dead last (and even then...). Going back to Toast of New York, I see this horse doing well with how the dirt has played so far. Stalkers have done very well on Friday and I believe that they will continue to do well. If he wins, I'll be one happy camper. If he loses, it wouldn't be the first time, but it won't be the last.

The problem is that Declaration of War was bred for the dirt but there's very little dirt pedigree in Toast. I would love to see him win but I think he will get run of his feet.

Didn't like the look of the track after the first race, it looks like its speed of the speed.

Now all the preps have run its speed all the way.

Toast of New York does have dirt in his pedigree. All of the US raced sons and daughters of Toast's sire have won at least once on dirt, a few of which came at Santa Anita. The way he runs seems to fit dirt.

I wasn't happy as well with the track. Playing very much like LosAl. Race 3 was very similar. I expect it to tone down as the day goes on. The BC won't let that bias stand.

My Nap should love it Carpe Diem but Top Decile in the next looks like she's got no chance.
