Relentless galloper with speed to match. Concerns about his jumping. I thought he was superior to Vautour before and after Cheltenham last year. Then Mullins said Vautour was far better. Still think I'm right.

Smad Place was unlucky to loose the RSA by a neck last year, will be tough to reverse the placings with Many Clouds on 8lbs worse terms, The sterner test at Prestbury Park should be in his favour as should a rattling good pace which he didn't really get behind Many Clouds, and he was a little keen, but Alan King's quip of "where else are we going to go" pretty much summed up his chances.

Champagne Fever looks nailed on.

I still think Dodging Bullets has more than a decent chance. History shows that he hasn't always run to his true form at the Festival, but it looks like Nicholls has ironed out the issues of last year. You can't fault him for winning two Grade Ones this season and there's always a possibility of SS or SDG not running to their best. Another point is that he worked with a stablemate recently and slammed him. That horse was As De Mee who bolted up in the EBF novice hurdle at Sandown yesterday.
