Re: Gleneagles
I'm saying 50,000 before and 50,000 after. I'm saying the same price as Australia.
Paul if he doesn't run again and u find out the price lets us know.

Re: Gleneagles
Aidan "He seems to be fine. The ground has been holding us up all year and I was saying 'no' (to him running) all year.
"We always do what is right for the horse and he is a very low moving, very fast miler and I should have said no again yesterday I Regret the Decision .
When the reason given for running is the sponsors' investment you are running for the wrong reasons. Think it was political rather than practical just my opinion

Re: Gleneagles
The whole saga was ridiculous. He's clearly not as good as they thought/hoped he was- a lot can change between june and october. To be a true champion a horse shouldn't be limited to a very small and specific set of parameters for running. O brien doesn't regret running him, he regrets him getting beaten. Frankel had a lot more at stake when he ran in the champion stakes.

Re: Gleneagles
He was a very good 2yo then does the guineas double and the St James Palace and you say he's clearly not as good as thye thought. They've always said he was a fast ground horse and did very well to win the irish guineas on soft ground.

Re: Gleneagles
Ubar Measures every horse against Frankel which is very one dimensional Not as good as they thought well thats a load of baloney he just never got his conditions again when they buckled under public pressure look what happened its been frustrating especially for everyone at Ballydoyle
Ubar Frankel was one in a Billion comparing every horse to him is pointless

Re: Gleneagles
No horse should ever be compared to Frankel because he is the best and nothing will be as good.

Re: Gleneagles
So what do we think of his chances at the breeders cup next weekend? If he gets his conditions he may surprise a few and he is a very tempting price, albeit in a very hot race.
