Took a while to get going didn't he, think he needs a mile and a half aswell.

Wonder where Ezanak will go, looks a good prospect.

So today Balty Boys carries a 5 pound penalty for a group 3 win yet Arod doesn't carry any penalty despite a group 3 and a group 2 win. This just proves our penalty system is ridiculous. Anyone explain why this is?

I must admit, I thought the horse was a massive lay at that price, his breeding screams 2yo sprinter, and if I had had a bet it would of been on the second but it was still a hugely disappointing run. I know Aidan is sometimes a slow starter and a lot of his guineas horses are not always absolutely 100%, they are thinking of the season long term, but surely given his breeding he would have been primed to run for his life today. Maybe something will show up.

I know people pay millions for War Front Horses but I just don't trust them, I'm not sure how well they train on. They seem to be one year wonder horses. I think he's over hyped and over priced at a stupid 200,000 dollars.

I've never understood why his fee was so high in the first place. His success at stud so far doesn't warrant his fee being what it is. He does produce good looking horses mind.

War Front only got decent books the last few years his best crops just coming through now
The WF/Galileo WF/Montjeu crosses will be gold mark my words he has covered some lovely
Galileo & Montjeu mares and I think it will be a big hit.

As for AFB spoke to his handler and he is fine he could well be out of the Johannesburg mold
brilliant juvenile who never showed it at 3 but Until he runs again I certainly wont be writing him off

judge War Front in a few seasons time also stallions usually find there true market value and plenty
queuing up for War Front.

I look at it differently to u because if a Sire needs great mares to be good then he's not that good, have a look at Tapit (the top sire) he's had to start at the very bottom and has made very average mares good and very good mares great. They don't look temperamental horses but they seem to be one year wonders.
I don't think War Front started at the bottom ( just a average race horse) because he's by Danzig and people love his blood lines.

You have to take into account who owns him. They are businessmen so their main objective is to make money and sell him as a stallion at all costs. I agree - I would have Tapit all day long.

How impressive was Taqdeer? Off to the Dante now for him, possibly the French Derby too!

Mulk, Maljaa and Taqdees all have outstanding chances tomorrow. Any anyone likes tomorrow?
