Trainers notes
A Place where trainers can add notes about future plans of their stars or talk about previous races and maybe the notes can be considered for the weekly show

Re: Trainers notes
Bazzaglliho
he is being considered for the Jnwine.com Champion Chase grade one at Down Royal in week 3 the only other option is the Munster National and I am not happy at this stage to enter him in Handicaps he would have to give alot of weight away both races are over 3 miles and he likes just a bit further the gold cup trip is perfect for him so im expecting there is a good chance he will be beaten next week he might just find the trip a little to sharp for him. Both of his victories this season came at 3m1 think the furlong drop in trip will be too big of an ask but I remain hopeful if he is defeated i could run him in the Hennessy in week 4 in an attempt to do a Denman obviously his main target will be the Gold Cup.
Teresa May Teresa May could run in the bet365 mile Group 2 next week as a prep for the Group One Lockinge Stakes she has performed well this season finishing 2nd in a mile maiden and last week she ran out the Godolphin Mile winner. She will have a penalty to carry but she should have a good chance of making the placings again the main target for her wlll be the Falmouth Stakes in week 7

Re: Trainers notes
Great idea ..... and will be very helpful. I will be compiling the review shows on Weds and/or Thurs depending on real life commitments.
Also remember you can send me a .wav file. The more different voices we get on there the better it will be. For the braver/ more technical ones amongst you an mp4 with audio would be even better as I can just slot it in on movie maker.
For the technical I ended up using OBS studio which captured the screen and audio together. It is a free download and very easy to use. For audio only Audacity is so simple its untrue. Thanks to Doug and Gray for putting me on to Audacity
Thanks, Martin

Re: Trainers notes
My jumpers.
My Princess Laura big targets will be the French group 1 races at Auteuil.
Present Abbey was going for the Grand National but will have to much weight so the group 1 4m4 furlong race at Cheltenham. Will stay away from H'caps.
Rogers Princess aim will be the World Hurdle or the Stayers Race at Aintree, needs good ground.
Last House fell first time out but will be my Grand National horse now, not that far behind Present Abbey.

Re: Trainers notes
Flat Miss Knavesmire - Target is the leger, not keen on the oaks her style of running won't suit Epsom, maybe the Ribblesdale. Bloomington - The pitman's derby then the Melbourne Cup. Jumps Nissaki - On a great mark, Greatwood then onto the Champion Hurdle Morning Dip - 3m Group 1 Hurdle Races. Caimbambo - Dreaming of a Grand National win after 2 great placed efforts so far, but has never got round Aintree in 4 attempts

Re: Trainers notes
mine so far are very average except for a couple of brighter hopes but that's a bit of a shock considering my season is all about uploading a whole team virtually in week 5 ....
fennis queen ran a great race in a 3 mile maiden hurdle and the world hurdle is a possibility tho I suspect she prefers slightly further may try and adapt if that's the case and have a wild swing at the gold cup .
seeing stars ran ok in couple of races and maybe a paddy power gold cup or something on those lines is the aim theres plenty 2m4f handicaps to have a swing at ........
winter blues stays forever and his next start will be a dipped toe in the marathons with the dream obviously Aintree.

Re: Trainers notes
Going into week 4 I Have 3 unbeaten horses
Bombshell Already a Grade one winner she has won 2 from 2 its going to be tough to place her now as no doubt she will have penalty's but as far as she is concerned she has achieved more than I expected its job done anything else is a bonus. The Berkshire Novice Chase in week 5 may be her next run unless i can find something suitable this week not looked yet will update when i do my nomms
Rosa Motta 4 mile novice chaser who has not had many opportunities to date Surprisingly she won in week 1 over 3m2 furlongs her main target will be the 4 mile novice chase at Cheltenham TBH i dont see many options open for her until then.
Wolfetone Another novice who is 2 from 2 and he has looked very classy on both starts and the RSA at Cheltenham is the end target for him again not too sure if he will get a run this week but the Worcester Novice chase G2 looks made for him thats in week 5 again will update when i do my nomms.

Re: Trainers notes
My teams aren't all garbage apparently. My jumps team has some well progressing horses and I'll see where they end up.
Jazz A shocking second in the Starters Orders 6 Hurdle Qualifier. That will be my end goal. Going to test her in Novice Hurdle Handicaps to see how she does.
Apollitical Jazz An improving speedy chaser. Will drop in distance next time and see how that goes. Could be entering Graded company soon.
Come On Jazz My flat horse from last season switched to the jumps and looked good. Was pulled up first race as distance was too long. Was running well but fell early in last start. Will look for him to stop the antics this week and take charge. There seems to be no speed in the jumps races and that's where my jumpers excel.
On the Flat: Apollitical Time Good try in the Kentucky Derby. Will drop her in class following the Preakness and see how she does in handicap company.
Vodka At Midnight Entered her last week just to give her a rating. Going to extend in distance and try the handicaps. Still need to find her ideal distance but was my best trial horse. I'm looking for her to get a win or two for me.
Ergo Proxy The only flat horse to survive the stable distribution, Ergo Proxy will stay at the two mile distance and try and chip one home. Had no pace to run in to last time but stayed on well. Needs more speed but a good closer when with an ideal pace.

Update as promised
No race for Wolfetone this week
Rozza Motta will run in the Moores Millions Stayers (Leg 4) Not many options for these staying novices but she gets a run after a 2 week break as of now she will be joint top weight the step up in trip will suit its still on the short side for her and in handicap level i can only be hopeful
Bombshell runs in the Rising Stars Novices Chase G2 she should have a decent chance i guess though she will have a g1 penalty should he stay upright Sparky Gale will take alot of beating He is unbeaten when not falling so Bombshell could loose her unbeaten run

Re: Trainers notes
No horses set for any specific race - after missing the nomination deadline last week I am trying to get as many horses in the flat and hunt nominated. I still have at least 6 horses who haven't started yet and couldn't get a run for this coming week.
Have placed a few horses to be competitive in the handicaps but most I'm hoping for mid-field finishes and a few are out of their depth and are running to get a handicap rating.

Re: Trainers notes
Sally Army to try hurdles she has few opportunities now Mack the Knife is about and my other 2 mile hurdlers are not even half decent so will take a chance with her she runs in the Doncaster mares hurdle with a view to run her in the champion hurdle.
