Re: The Dance Of Speed Demon
If you want to mix her mythical speed with spamina and class then i doff my cap to mr rhodes as Galileo would surely give Lady Aurelia's foal that, would no doubt be a Guineas horse

Re: The Dance Of Speed Demon
Change the position of the 2 horses and the result changes, York is a funny racecourse which has a bias as to what side of the track your on, Infact most U.K courses do,Lingfield,Doncaster, Newbury, Newmarket(rowley).Yarmouth, Ascot and not even National Hunt is immune from that fact, Cheltenham has a massive bias on the hurdles course towards the nearside rail, Same with Newbury and Aintree,Warwick, Chepstow, Newcastle, Ayr
Makes me slightly wild when a jockey doesn't go the right side in a race on these courses but that's racing!!!!!
well done to Marsha today but i think that will be the only time you will be seeing her beat Lady Aurelia!!!!!

Re: The Dance Of Speed Demon
As an Elite racing club member today was the stuff of dreams, like many I couldn't see her reversing the form with the two principles but I did comment to my other half as the horses were shown in the parade ring that she looked better than I've seen her all year. She managed to track the leaders this time which she wasn't able to do at Ascot or Goodwood and she always finishes her races off really strongly in the final furlong. Watching it live I thought she'd just failed to get up but the camera deceived us all, as it did with the Dartmouth race earlier in the card. I had to read a lot of rubbish about Marsha after she lost at Royal Ascot but today she gets her revenge against a top class sprinter. The Abbaye last Autumn was special but today was on another level, and she was 10/1 last night! I get the impression there may be quite a few suitors for her when she becomes a broodmare, firstly though, roll on the Abbaye!!

Send her to Australia to get some real speed in her and while she is here she can mate with American Pharaoh to get some stamina with a Triple Crown winner.
