Manager/Trainer wanted
I was wondering if it was possible to hire a trainer to manage my stable for the upcoming league season. I just dont have the time to enter horses to races some weeks. Last season I had 50 horses uploaded and I think I managed to enter 6 of the 12 weeks of racing.
Is this allowed for the league?
The trainer would determine what races the horses would enter and would receive 40%-75% of the purse, which is negotiable. It does not matter to me. I just want to see my horses run. It would be up to the trainer to choose the right distance for a particular horse. I would have no say in their decision, it would be up to them to decide what is best. Entering a G1 race or not, enter a handicap race would be their decision.
I was thinking of 2 trainers, 1 for the jumps and 1 for the flat. The trainer could also decide what horse distribution I have to upload...
Example would be more sprinters, more miler, more 2yo's, more hurdlers or chasers, more long distance or a balanced with 1 for each distance.
Time constraints prohibit me entering some weeks so if the league allows, this would solve my problem.
Is this allowed for the league? Will other trainers be upset?
I'd like to hear people's opinion...

Re: Manager/Trainer wanted
There is one issue with this in that your account is session based and only you can access the pages for your stable and nominations. It would require sharing your username and password with the person doing the entering. I would suggest in this case that you have 2 portfolios 1 for Nh and 1 for flat. You would require 2 unique email addresses, but that shouldn't be hard. My time is also very limited so can't help you out, but I would rather see your horses run than not

I have no problems with this arrangement. Better to have Thunder's horses racing than not.

Sounds fine to me. Difficult to see why anyone would object.

Re: Manager/Trainer wanted
No objection from me, more difficult to see why anyone would want too in favour of their own horses, and permitting both is not really a good thing.

its the only boring part of the league is entering horses not sure who would want to do it but good luck to them think Gray has already volunteered for the job

Is that not a problem if he is also running his own?

I think if Thunder gives an outline for each horse and what type of race he want's them aimed at then it shouldn't be a problem. I trust Gray to do the right thing - I just hope he isn't over working himself.

Re: Manager/Trainer wanted
Looking at the thread, it seems that everyone is fine with this so what I could do is create a 2nd account. 1st account would have the flats and 2nd the NH horses. Each account would have it's own login/password. I could then email those to the trainer/manager who wants to take care of it.
When I upload, I could write up a little note for each horse like their preferred distance. Flats should be all be G1s as Jalupen says. For the jumps I can write their preferred distance range like (2m to 2m2f) and if they only prefer hurdles and not fences or mix. Most of my horses are distance specific too. Example is that a 2m hurdler cant run 2m1f and so on. But if the trainer/manager want to enter it to that race then it's up to them.
