I hope it doesn't happen again, but about this time during last season, I had a heart attack and ended up in hospital for 2 months. Paul puts a lot of effort into running this compettition, but I think it is sometimes unfair when a trainer like yourself gets drawn against a top trainer like myself. Paul has split the results into leagues and when you look at the top 7 trainers, there is not much to choose between them, then there are about 5 trainers at the next level and then everyone is about equal. I wonder if the competition would be better if it was split into say 3 sections and the trainers in each section played a a knockout competition against one another. You would then have a world league champion, a global league champion and world conference champion. I think I counted 27 competitors, so based on the results from week 4, 2 leagues of 8 trainers and 1 league of 11 trainers may have been a good split. If there was 3 sections, there would not be so many knockout rounds, so the draw could be made after week 5 or 6 and this would give trainers more time to find their level of performance. Please don't start a big argument about this. It is Pauls competition and it is up to Paul how he wants to run it. I was merely thinking that the mid and lower level trainers would have more to play for. Jim

HOW VERY DARE YOU JIM I QUIT MY POST AS DCC SECRETARY unfortunately it cant be changed this season but next season once we get the numbers in and levels have been established i will liaise with you to come up with forular for a 3 tier or 4 tier cup competition i was thinking of adding a shield cup for those knocked out in the first 2 rounds that could also be an option moving forward. I'm all for making this better for players of all levels.

Anyway, we can chat about it nearer the time. Jim

Very kind, reflective and sportsmanlike thoughts, Jim. I am sorry to hear about your heart attack last year. I really hope you are at good health now.

At least I am offering some resistance to Moliets and not be a complete one sided win for him

Hi Paul
Just a quick note. When you come to do the weeks summary, I had a dead heat in race 15 on the flat, but it doesn't show as a win in TOM
