Re: Dual Code Championship 2018
A bit disappointing Turn out I don't know where Tim is although he did say he was doing Coms, Charlie was going to return and as not I fear For Jim Harrison not been around in ages and even James O'Shea who made great strides season before last not turning up.
Looking at Admin in Tom we have had at least 25 Join the League since last Season and only 3 have joined this season I don't know the answer why they don't stick around.

People dominate the game think they have world beaters they are used to winning and when they turn up in the league and dont continue to dominate they pack it in there is no answer mate either you get the bug for the league or you dont some people are just not willing to even give it a chance and no one should beat themselves up I think we have done all we can to attract new players i'm really not sure what more we could have done P.S we only had 23 taking part in the DCC last season so as of now we are +2 here

Re: Dual Code Championship 2018
Totally agree. The game is no preparation for the league. People either get the bug and put in the effort or they don't. SO7 and the breeding proposal maybe a leveller.

Re: Dual Code Championship 2018
UKRA Championship 1 John 6 2 Jango 5 3 Jim 5
NHC Championship 1 Josh 7 2 Leon 7 3 Paul & Darren 4
DCC Championship 1 John 9 2 Josh 9 3 Darren 8
If you spot any errors with the above table please shout
The Cup OK ha as expected no one came forward offering to run an in depth Cup therefore I have had to come up with a plan i need to keep the cup low maintenance as I just dont have the time to dedicate to it so here are my plans.
1) we have a normal cup as with seasons before knockout based with all 25 trainers it will be a random draw and there will be byes in the first round this will also be random More details to follow nearer the time
2) Once in week 5 when the trainers are split into their own league groups each group (Of 5 trainers) will have its own knockout cup starting in week 8
Round one - Playoff Qualifier (Bottom 2 trainers in each DCC League group will playoff for a place in the semi finals the top 3 trainers will get a bye to the semis its knockout from there.
Week 08 Play Off QL1 Week 09 PLay Off QL2 Week 10 Semi Final L1 Week 11 Semi Final L2 week 12 Cup Final L1 week 13 Cup Finals L2
This should keep most trainers interested to the end of the season so all trainers of all ability's have the opportunity of winning a League & a Cup.
Of Course if anyone comes forward and wants to take over the cup id be delighted if not this is the way we will go not ideal but at least its something

Agree with the reality check that new players get when joining the league. I understood when i joined that i should not think i will be competitive at the top end. So i think that is made pretty clear already. Something that perhaps Mark could look at with SO7 is that currently in SO6 there is no real promotion of the league. The only link i am aware of is the "Visit the Games website" and the League page there states "There will be no leagues taking place during the games BETA phase. Please visit the forums for any news." I only discovered the league by visiting the forum. I feel that a direct link in game to the League section of the forum might create more interest from the players of the game. I can understand that from Marks perspective developing and selling the game is the focus, but had i not joined the League i doubt i would be buying SO7, which i now intent to do of course.

Re: Dual Code Championship 2018
Ok the Dead heat issue is not fixed the horse listed as 2nd on the race sheet even though is joint first the trainer or horse dont get the credit in the logs therefore i have to do this Manually for the DCC this week Moilets & Thunder had dead heats thunder is not in the DCC but Moilets will be manually credited with a win. I watch most races but not every single one if i miss a dead heat please shout (Only the trainer listed second on the race result screen) the one listed first already gets credited with a win and i will manually add your win should i miss you

Re: Dual Code Championship 2018
I think the issue maybe from the race kit, the race I deadheated this week both horses were listed with 1st, though I have seen dead heats where this is not the case and I think maybe it is those that do not ge credited?
