Re: trials
I get pretty uniform results. Maybe look more towards consistent placers.

Re: trials
Hi Del Most of us agree with you, the results of trialling in the CK are very inconsistant. Many of the horses I upload to the league have only won a few trial races but they have run more consistantly. I don't use a points system, I just look at the horses form guide. The standard game doesn't record a horses form but you can quickly add a small program (the racekit) that does it for you. I end up with something like the racecard below and I just look at the hores form. Here is a link to the racekit and how to install it. https://app.box.com/s/0q2akxqkl9hj85soo5f3ty0yemgfogkxCopy the racekit file to the main SO6 folder in c:\program files(86)\ starters orders 6 Start the racekit and then click the small button on the left middle of screen On the next screen select the top option, but not the second option like this Now quit from the racekit. Now if you run races in the CK, the racecard should be updated with race results. Jim

Re: trials
5 horses 5 different winners but did one place 2nd four times, as that is the horse you want. Consistency is what you need to look for. Also note the ck from the game and the racekit jim mentions will also throw up different results.....

Re: trials
I actually look at the race time when there is no obvious stand out horse. I have noticed that the pace of the race can greatly influence the outcome. So when there are multiple winners, i pick the winning horse with the fastest race time.

Jim Hi, I've just tried this now, got the race kit saved in SO6 folder but when I open that, there's no horses to trial, however if I open up the normal race kit through the game, my horses are there, but the form doesn't save still. Any idea what I may be doing wrong? Cheers, Vinny

Re: trials
To get your exported horses from the game race kit to the league race kit you need to first export them to file, just as you would if uploading to the league. Basically the little blue button on the export horse list. The league race kit will automatically look at the file exports.

Re: trials
Sorry, I don't use steam. After a bad experience with steam, I have never bought another game that requires yiou to use steam. I only buy games that run fullly loaded in the computer or come on DVD.

Re: trials
Even if you cannot get the race kit you can still trial in the game ck. Not a steam user for this game so I also cannot help, few do user it though.

I have the Steam version, my exported horse files (.hrs) are located here: C:\Users\Jango\Documents\StartersOrders6\exports\horses The race kit should load them from that directory when it starts up. Cheers

Assuming you are using the racekit make sure it's installed here: D:\steam\steamapps\common\Starters Orders 6Drive depends on where your Steam directory is. Make sure you restart the racekit "after" exporting your horses. Can you find the .hrs horse files in the path i gave in the last post? C:\Users\Jango\Documents\StartersOrders6\exports\horses EDIT: I just remembered when i tried to run the race kit Steam threw a tantrum because "so6kit1079.exe" file wasnt registered and wanted a new key code. I had to contact Mark to provide me with one. Are you able to actually start the racekit?
