Post The future of the league
Ok lets have at it!!!!

Who is up for the next season???
I know i sure am.
And i will help run races or what ever is needed.

If you have played the league for however long and you are not enjoying it, then fine, move on.
But lets not start posting comments about the "demise" of the league, thats just being destructive.

Clearly S07 has a long road ahead of it before it can be a base for the league.
So its game on with S06 as far as i am concerned.

(With tongue firmly planted in cheek) .....is anyone out there able to stop me dominating the next season???

So lets hear if you are in for the next exciting season!

Cheers

Post Re: The future of the league
I have enough horses left in my export bin from the last go around to do my NH team, though I may try and breed some white ones, I miss my white horses. I started on my flat team last weekend after getting bored of SO7 and will likely get a few churned out and trialled before the off.

Cannot really help out this time around, certainly not with any regularity, though I maybe able to do the odd 'guest' race run if we are short on particular weeks.

So I shall have a team for the league if there are enough people to run it.

When i'm around i'll be up for running races. I think unless we get more newbies for SO7 then the league could be in trouble but lets enjoy SO6 for one more season. :D

So is there a start date in mind? Is the counter on the TOM accurate?

I dont think the TOM countdown is accurate, Gray mentioned a start some time in February.

Post Re: The future of the league
Sorry Guys no Start date yet the idea was February but I have to check I got the numbers for running races weekly has if I am two down doing any week as the guys have wife's and a life it hard work for me and who ever is left running races a few times last season we had 2 or 3 runners and some cant handle Jump Races as the files are big compared to flat Races.

Also I need to get a new graphics card has I believe mine is on the way out as my PC crashes when I try and Render films and this would mean I wont be able to do races for You Tube so need to have a chat with the other half because this current one aint that old 2 years so it wont be for a while yet guys until I sort things out first of all I need to know for sure who can Race Run on most weeks.

Gray

Please list below who can on this thread.

I'll be available for race running.
I should be able to tweak my recording settings to produce smaller files and therefor more uploads.

Just a thought and dont know if its viable but rather than pushing to produce 70+ races over the weekend perhaps consider splitting the load?
So NH gets run and posted over the weekend and the Flats get produced and posted during the week.

Gray, are you sure its your graphic card? Video rendering is usually more CPU intensive than GPU. It might just be your processor is struggling to cope with file size, screen resolution of the video files your trying to render.

If you can you still play games ok, I would doubt it's your graphics card.

Not sure Kev it was a pain during last season it kept crashing when it was saving the film and when I start my Starters Orders game the mouse arrow stays on the middle of the screen and can still move the mouse around but there's a arrow stuck in the middle of my screen and only on my game it happens.

Is your graphics card driver up to date? Do you have enough memory installed? I would say at least 8GB, preferably 16GB for rendering videos in high definition.

AFAIK what you are seeing with the mouse pointer has nothing to do with your graphics card.
Have you tried using a different mouse?
Have you checked mouse settings/options?
Have you ever had a touchpad/trackpad installed? I've heard this can sometimes cause a 2nd mouse pointer to appear on screen.
