Re: Weekly Reaction
Strange start to the season for me. 3 winners in week 1 was a major shock as I have done nothing to improve. My single player purple silks game has only progressed 2 seasons since the last season of SO6 and my orange and green silk games haven't been played at all.
Just the one winner in weeks 2 and 3 seemed more like my level so was a major surprise to land 5 winners a 2nd and umpteen 3rd 4th and 5th places in week 4.
Funny old season for a few of us it seems

Re: Weekly Reaction
It was noted amongst us callers about Sign Polar's excellent effort backing up from last season's Arc. I would suggest it wasn't a fluke after it's BMW efforts.

Re: Weekly Reaction
Yayy!!!!
2 wins on day one but whats even better for me is my other horses were up there. Had some of them been able to find a path through the pack it could have been a couple more wins. Fingers crossed for the rest of the week to try and stay in touch with John and Paul.
Cheers

Re: Weekly Reaction
3 Winners for me today 2 on the flat and 1 over the sticks
Stonhenge Its back to back Epsom Derby wins for me and my 9th career League English classic victory Stonehenge leads home a stable 1,2 to join last years winner The Colosseum in becoming an immortal Epsom Derby winner moments don't come much better than this the hard work really paid off. The winner will now go to the Irish Derby next. The runner up Commander Data ran with real credit too.
Freemantle Express Won the Duke of York G2 last week and followed up by taking the Temple Stakes G2 this week even with the penalty he showed alot of guts there to hold them off Kings Stand at Royal Ascot next.
Shallamarr 2nd win in novice company when winning the Newtons Novices Hurdle in a dead heat with Jim's horse.
Well done to Josh on his oaks win she is an iron horse you should be proud of her. Huge thanks to the team appreciate the hard work and effort you all put in Many Thanks to the commentators well done to the winners and placers

2 winners over the sticks today
Soldiers Call Off the mark at the 5th attempt after his 3 places this season took the Worcester Novice Chase G2 well winning by over 5 lengths the RSA back on the agenda for him now.
Geezerbird Her second win of the season took the Long Distance Hurdle G2 very smartly never out of the first 4 in her career so far the Stayers hurdle remains her Target.
Huge thanks to the team appreciate the hard work and effort you all put in Many Thanks to the commentators well done to the winners and placers

Re: Weekly Reaction
Day 2 of Week 5
Another great day with 2 wins following on from 2 wins on Day 1.
Frostbite continues to impress me with another strong win in the Seymour Pierce Henry II Stakes. I dont like his chances in the Melbourne Cup handicap as his rating continues to climb.
Rolly Polly might have earned a reprieve from the window cut by winning a Listed 6f race.
I am extra happy with the way most of my horses are running this week, being in contention near the finish even if they only grabbed a place. This is in contrast to the previous couple of weeks where they didnt show much enthusiasm at all. Maybe my race selection has improved.
Fingers crossed for Day 3, my best chance is with Jupiter in the AJC Derby. I will need to keep this form going if i am to stay in touch with John and Paul. John dominates the 2yo's which i have none in my stable. I just cant seem to find the right mix for them.
As always a big thanks to the League team who make all the magic happen! Well done to the other trainers.
Cheers

I have 2yo's with great stats for their age, that became great 3yo's but made absolutely terrible 2yo's! I had better 2yo's when i first joined the League when my stats were pretty average. If i had another SO6 season i would focus all my breeding on producing competitive 2yo's.

U right there, when I first started playing 6 when I had the time I only wanted to be a2yo trainer and I put the most work into them, they are different from every other year group. I wouldnt let my 3yo breed with my 2yo but then my 2yo are rubbish 3yo.
