dissappointed
ok so I bit the bullet and downloaded yesterday and couldn't believe my eyes that its still possible to use tff files there really is no need for them and I think the majority of people wanted rid of them makes the game too easy imo but what do I know

Re: dissappointed
So what you are saying Steve is that the ttf can be exploited the same way it was in SO6?

I was probably like you Doug and thought the TTF exploit was no longer possible, until i read this post. So i went and tested and its possible. Its not exactly the same as SO6 but i dropped the same horse multiple times into a single saved game. I think its better that its common knowledge for ALL League trainers than only some realizing its possible.

Any trainer that gives indication they would like to compete in the League should be given this information - this is what you need to do to compete at the top.

Re: dissappointed
Ive been thinking about the SO7 TTF situation. This could pose a very big problem for the no sibling rule.
In SO6 if you imported the same horse multiple times into a save it would retain the original name and add a numeric to the name, for example "Jango v", "Jango li" ,"Jango vi" ect. This made it easy to identify horses that had the same parents.
Now in SO7 when you import a horse you can change the name! So many foals can come from what is essentially the same parents but the parents can have different names.

I preferred the naming system like it was in SO6, could it be possible to have it back? It meant that you knew what lineage your horse had and it showed it when you transferred it.

You could over ride that by renaming the 2yos in SO6 but as long as it shows the parents name in the breeding and I think Gray or TOM could identify siblings who had the exact same breeding and age.
