Post Trials Day 2 - Trainers Notes
Flat

I have spent a depressingly large amount of time banging my head against a wall with my flat game, but there have been a few improvements and sparks of life along the way, but I don’t have much faith in my game stock generally and have been working on other games, something I shall likely continue to do up until the league starts. As of now these are the cream of the crop.

NEWMARKET Going Good To Firm

Race 1 5F 2YO – Pack Hunter 2yo

Newly breed filly, whose sire runs in race 3, she is a long way ahead of my other 2yo’s but that is not saying much, likes to leave it late and just about do enough, always something that worries me in league horses where the competition is far better than the game. I’d be happy with top 6.

Race 3 5F 4UP – The Wolf Pack 4yo

Comes into his own as he gets older, soundly beaten by his daughter above as a 2yo but turns the tables at 4yo. Don’t think much of my sprinters generally especially at this age, I would rate him as a league handicapper at best.

Race 5 1M 4UP – Belle of The Ball 4yo

As the name suggests go back 4 generations and you will find ‘Belladona’ who took 3 G1’s last year as a 3yo in the league. This mare is part of an ongoing breeding programme to try and get some shorter distance types out of her line and was something of a surprise as I expected she would be a stepping stone rather than a 1m ready product. Could come into the league younger, assuming I don’t find better and I am genuinely curious how she will fare here given the breeding.

Race 7 1M 2F 4UP – Envious 4yo

This stallion came out of the last cycle of breeding, sired by G1 winning league horse ‘Rorkes Drift’ who was mixed with a higher potential sprint line, decent at 1m also where his is more likely to feature as a 3yo. He sets a new bar for my 1m – 1.2m types though the uplift is not huge. Another I am really curious to see how he fares at league level. Feels like he could be a group level challenger, but probably over 1m.

Race 9 1M 4F 3y0 – Legend 3yo

The undoubted new star filly in my stable, as a 3yo for the Oaks races, looks to bring just as much quality to the table as ‘Belladona’ did last season. Has been in the barn for a while now, but I have yet to find better, breeding includes St Leger winner from last season ‘Hooded Claw’ and G2 winner ‘Zulu Dawn’. I think she is G1 class, certainly amongst the fillies.

Race 11 1M 6F 4UP – The Special Mix 4yo

Quite and old breed this one, was a bit of an experiment to uplift a base 2m staying line by sprinkling in a 1m – 1.2m line. Both the horses in question have long since fallen away, but the sire was part of the ‘Zulu’ line that has produced group level horses last time around. Features strong in my trials from 1.6m to 2m and if the league started today she would be in at this age and for this distance range. Could go well.

Jump

I have not done a full jump trial since the last set of exhibitions, as my time has been spent tinkering with my flat games. I have as suggested on the forums also been doing some set up work for a new Irish jump game, and the first breed cycle of about 80 horses has been trialled with a couple of the more established UK jump stars to get a measure of where they stand, for the most part the gap was 5-10lgths, but there are a few who looked very competitive off the bat and will go in these trials to test. I have since refined these lines yet further and will be doing a mass trial with both games in the next week or so.

DONCASTER NH Going Heavy

Race 2 2M Juvenile Hurdle 4YO – More of The Same 4yo

I am still not exporting or trialling the 4yo’s from my jump games for the juvenile races, I don’t see the point of wasting a horse that I then cannot use for at least 3 more seasons, so this is another flat horse from my Australian game. Looks a cut above the rest and with this one I can say he is as good as I have right now, he would be my entry if the league started tomorrow. But I am not hopeful, he is a firm ground type so will not like the ground much. These races are not a high priority for me right now.

Race 4 2M 5F Chase 5UP – The Kingsman 8yo

O for the luck of the Irish. I cannot tell you much about this horse as there is only one generation in his lineage, the mare was a random breeding mare found at auction, who is nothing special at all, maybe 70% potential when mature, the Sire is a gamebred who looks like the key here, as he is also responsible for Silverado below, but he too is nothing special with only 3 G1’s to his name. I have of course breed the poor chap have to death since trialling against my UK stars. Could go eitherway, could be really competitive of a complete bust and a trial blip. Beyond curious about this one.

Race 6 2M 2F Hurdle 4UP – Long Road to Trouble 8yo

Just about scraps into the trial sheets at 2m, the breeding makes me think it will be better slightly longer. But no chance of ever making the league team if I am honest, was an attempt to improve my 2m hurdlers with longer distance hurdle lines, but it was a bit of a bust. I think my 2m hurdlers are rubbish generally so this one should be beaten easily today.

Race 8 3M 2F Chase 5UP – Silverado 8yo

Looked even better in trials than the Kingsman above, though falls, bad jumps and bad runs from the one of two UK types who joined the trials could account for that. Breeding is a little more refined as there are 4 generations here on the side of the mare, the Sire is the same gamebred responsible for the Kingsman. Just as curious on how he will do, have already further refined the breeding in the game, this will determine how hard I continue to push that.

Race 10 2M 6F Hurdle 4UP – World In White Hands 8yo

The oldest 8yo in my export bin, at one time he was the new star of my 3m hurdlers, now he is just hanging in on the trial sheet. Don’t think he has much chance of making the team and I think he would be happier at 3m. Will allow me to measure the 3m hurdlers generally though.

RACE 12 4M 1F Chase 7UP – The Chair 8yo

Maybe better as a 9yo and has been on the trial sheets for a while now without ever really dominating just hanging about, in the last round she blew to the top of the pile, but I am generally dubious about this result and the overall ability of my 4m class. Expectations are low for this.

Post Re: Trials Day 2 - Trainers Notes
Doesn't seem that along ago we had trail day 1 and here we are again for trail day 2.

I've not had much game time since the first trails but that will change now and I'll ramp up my game time to try and sort out areas I think I'm behind in terms of quality.

Trail week 1 was with some experiments not this time around. Most of these are my top 3 horses albeit the jumps races. Heavy ground isn't an ideal pre for my jumpers, but will roll out with some of my most consistent on these conditions.

I was very LUCKY  to have a good showing from my horses on trail day 1. Can lightening strike twice and possible have the same LUCK again

Anyways joking aside  Here is a run down of some of the horses I'm very much looking forward to seeing race this week.

Good luck to all involved. Excited to see some action again.

Flat Horses

Race 1
Retail Dimension 2yo - Had the option to enter a few in this but this new recruit is very speedy and as a touch of class. He could get me off to a flying start on trails day 2.

Race 3
Dangerous Florale 7yo - She's a 5f specialist and extremely fast, likes to race up with the pace or front run and doesn't stop. I've others over different courses and ground which beat her, but she trails so well here and deserves her chance.

Race 5
Coded Pass 7yo - Didn't win a single race in my game and I was close to deleting him. That would have been a massive mistake on my part! He's a very talented miler and has a wicked turn of foot to the line. He's one of my top 3 older milers. Hopeful of a huge run this week.

Race 7
Danderry Note 4yo - This distance is a worry for me. Don't think I any quality horses at this trip. I'll do some final trails and test some more but he's the most likely runner at this point. There's inside info that Leon and Vinny have top class 1m2f horses and from last season showing going to be difficult to beat them.

Race 9
Trojan Attack 3yo - Very curious about this horse and to see if I have finally improved my 3yo 1m4f horses to group level. He trails very good at this course but isn't my Derby number 1. This distance along with my older horses are still work in progress, which is painstakingly slow. Hopefully get there before the season starts in 7 weeks.

Race 11
Redruth Skye 7yo - I've improved my flat stayers over the past few months. This mare is talented but whether she's up to the top level I'll know more this week. I'd would have liked to have enter another one in this race because I cannot split either of the 2.

NH Jumpers

Race 2
Rule Of Maze 4yo - This is tough going. I've quite a few 4yo which are all very good, so it's been a headache picking one out. This horse as so much ability and can either blow my current crop away or get out-paced which is so strange. Was going to enter her in the 2m2f but decided to go with the 4yo. She will be in my NH team but not sure if a 4yo novice, 2mH novice or go into open company with her. I rate her very highly and can beat Crafty Customer easily, who won the trail day 1 race very well.

Race 4
Jaynie Of Helliers 7yo - Races handy and seems to like it around here. My 2m4fC are all over the place and I don't have a stand out performer. Breeding of this one is very good and has a nice blend of speed and stamina.

Race 6
Marshs Zouz 7yo - Had a few I could have raced with this week but decided to go with this very exciting prospect who is new to my trails and from my Supreme Novice winner Honor Robbers. His mother was a Wondermare who as produced some fine CK horses.

Race 8
Plague Runner 9yo - Still an unknown distance for me. Last season I had one very good 3mC, I have nothing really to gauge my new recruits on. This horse didn't peak until 9 which is rare for me, normally they peak at 6, 7, or 8yo.

Race 10
Rafaella Mylette 7yo - I like this mare a lot and should give a good account of herself in this race. She really likes heavy ground which will be in her favor here.

Race 12
Sensitive Jules 8yo - I only had 1 stayer last season and he was a game breed horse, who was very poor. This is an area on which I'm so curious about my new recruits. I'd like to have some live Grand National types next season and be able to aim some at winning it again. It's one race I most look forward to racing in.

Had nearly no game time for nearly a month now, due to constant crashes caused by a faulty graphics card (I think). Hopefully that's sorted now and I can get some proper game time in. Mostly experiments here, but still decent enough horses so should tell me where I stand

Race 1 - Beijing Respect, 2nd in the first trials over 6f, quietly expectant in this, which he's probably better suited by. If he's close enough in the final furlong he should be finishing fastest. this horse was a beast first time around at all ages, however I lost my game due to crashes an had to go back to when he was 2, and his older exports were never quite as good 2nd time round. Gutted as he used to beat Xinyi Player quite well

Race 3 - Yinchuan Mosstree, My 5f horses been nowhere near my 6f horses but there's a batch come through who look decent enough. Likes to sit handy an has a decent kick, could grab a place

Race 5 - Nantong Stardust, In the first trials I actually ran the wrong Stardust. I ran Shenzhen Stardust accidentally instead of this. She's not bad based on times, but can't see her troubling the winner

Race 7 - Memphis Willpower, Love this horse, a proper super stallion who, along with 2 other unrelated stallions has taken my 1m2 game to new heights. Always runs his race an loves firmer ground. Nowhere near my best in the trials now except for firm ground. gave him a run as I really wanted to see him run but he wont make the league team, could still grab a place

Race 9 - Denver Baraka, bit of a wonder mare when I bred her at the start of the last season, she just missed out on the upload window, an I still haven't completely caught her yet. She does need a fast pace, anything slow an she wont be near them

Race 11 - San Antonio Peachey, from the above Denver Baraka, his grand sire is Hanghu Leary (2nd in Melbourne cup last season). Very much like his mother, needs a very fast paced 1m4, but does get 1m6 very well. Be an interesting watch this one, chances of a place again

Back again and excited as ever, I'm still on a high from running a placing in the first weeks trials, I didn't expect that at all and again not expecting much this time around. But im here for the experience of it all and to see how I go against the long serving members and been in with a few newbies that have joined. Best of luck to all involved and here is a little summary of my entries for this weeks trials.

Race 1 5F 2YO
Groovy Chick (2yo Filly) Shes a get back filly but if the speed is hot she'll be flying home over the last furlong.. Was better in the CK than the game and pushes my other sprinter Master of Swords who ran 3rd in the first round of trials in the 6f sprint.

Race 3 5F 4UP
Dragon King (4yo Horse) He is a high cruising horse, sets the pace and if he gets a soft lead might kick away and hold them out late. I think he is better around a tight turning track like Chester.

Race 5 1M 4UP
Petals (4yo Mare) This horse is a monster in my CK, she is another like Dragon King, must have a high cruising bar, she can set the pace or sit just off but always pushes out, shes great across 1m, 1m 2f, I probably could have entered her for Race 5 and 7.

Race 7 1M 2F 4UP
Materazzi (4yo Horse) Not sure what to expect from this guy. He was 2nd choice, I don't know if this was the right choice but I'll go with it for now.

Race 9 1M 4F 3y0
Saltoro (3yo Colt) I'm kinda expecting a lot from this Colt. He is a closer/hold up horse, If one of your horse sets a good pace he will be flying home, He wins everything in my CK from 1m 4f+, I never play the jumps side of things and I never exported him past 3yo, which I kind of regret, I think he would have been a good 2m-3m Hurdler.

Race 11 1M 6F 4UP
Balla Per Me (4yo Mare) She's the only long distance horse I have right now so again, trial and error and see how she goes.

Post Re: Trials Day 2 - Trainers Notes
Here are my entries for Day 2 of the trials:

5F 2yo - Living Legend

This fella will be entering the league as a 3yo, with a focus on the 6f races. As a 2yo he is my most consistent 5f horse and like most of my runners he comes flying late on from off the pace. I have a feeling he will come too late and other trainers front runners will be too good to catch but I'm hoping he can grab me a top 5 finish.

5f 4yo+ - The Town

Not the horse I initially had lined up for this race but a late export and trial last night showed me that this mare can run a quicker time than any of my sprinters. She can be very inconsistent, especially when it comes to getting out the stalls quickly - but when she runs her best rate she sweeps my sprinters aside. No chance she'll win, other trainers have super sprinters, but will be interesting to see how one of my front runners fares as every horse on the first trials day was a hold up one!

8f 4yo+ - Piazza Navona

No surprise to say that this fella comes with a run late on - his sire is Living Legend who is turning out to be a great stallion for me. Piazza Navona sometimes gets there too late in my trials but when he times it right he wins comfortably going away. He actually finishes top 3 in my 10f trials so the trip could be too sharp when other trainers set a blistering pace and show no signs of stopping! I love this horse and would love to see him get in the top 5.

10f 4yo+ - Pretty Smart

Pure speed bred into decent stamina (I don't have good stayers) and, like 90% of my horses, comes late on like a train. I can't compete at the top level over 10f and am really interested to see just how far off I am with this trial. I'll be aiming to have much better by November and will use this trial to learn a lot about what I can do to improve the 10f runners.

12f 3yo - Aphrodite

This filly was exported in my 12th season in the game - and I still cannot beat her consistently over 10-12f, especially at Ascot and Epsom. At Newmarket she still wins most trials but again I know this is not a strong distance for me. I'll be watching to see how well she stays on late in the day so I learn more about whether she gets the distance or whether I need better yardsticks and CK horses for trials over this distance.

14f 4yo+ - American Woman

Thrown her in for the sake of having a runner - not a distance I can expect to be competitive at, would genuinely be happy with a top 10!

Summary of flat runners - would be hopeful of a few top 5s, which I achieved in the first trials day with one top 4. A repeat of that would make me happy!

2mile 4yo - River Phoenix

Love this horse, he is actually in my top 3 flat horses over 10f as a 6yo as well as being my best juvenile hurdler. He isn't quite there when it comes to my top 2 mile hurdlers but I think as an older horse he probably wants 2m2-3f which is awkward. I'm hopeful of a top 5 and would love to see him go into the league for a crack at the Triumph!

2m5f Chase - Punk Rock

I was so tempted to upload Starstruck for another trials day given how well she ran last time, looking the likely winner approaching the final fence. She won't stay this trip on heavy and so I've gone with the horse that tends to finish strongest in the CK over this C&D. I'm sure you all know the inconsistency you see when trialling NH horses on heavy ground so I genuinely don't know what to expect - a top 5 would be grand.

2m2f Hurdle - Rugell Vista

Loves the ground, stays the distance, the only question mark I have is whether he will leave it too late. In my trials he occasionally challenges earlier and when he does he scoots clear and isn't for catching. I'm going to mark him down as one I'll be disappointed to see out of the frame.

3m2f Chase - Sherlock Holmes

Staying chasers are something I want to work on and improve on ahead of the league and will definitely be a focus area for me in October (if workload allows me time!!). This will be an interesting race for me to learn just how far off I am and whether I can run a respectable race against some top NH trainers.

2m6f Hurdle - Traude Beau

This horse is the apple of my eye and I was tempted to leave her out of the trials because she simply does not like soft ground. But the fact is stayers are not my strong point so she smashes everything over any ground at the longer distances. She clocks 5.48 over the World Hurdle C&D without being challenged and without a strong front-running pace so I'm very hopeful that (on the off chance good features in the ground description come the festival) she can have a say in a group 1 race!

NH feels like a more exciting code for me, always has, I just prefer it in real life too - but I genuinely think I will have more success on this side of things than the flat and the first trials day reinforced that. Excited to see what this trials day throws up and whether I have made the right level of progress over the past month.

Good luck everyone - whatever the outcome, I'm buzzing to be involved again and will be happy just having horses to enter at any level.

I've just started playing today after a few months of and I had to download the latest patch and my game is crashing more , I hope its not a long term problem.

Happy enough with the showing of my lot, the flat horses were mostly competitive, as much as I expected them to be, and I figure I shall have a similar season to last, mid table may sneak a few group races along the way.

The NH was more of a mixed bag, two placing from two horses unlikely to make the team was positive for the horses in waiting, I can excuse my 4yo hurdler due to the ground and it is not an area I expect to challenge, my main Irish raider fell early and the other Silverado has since been exposed in my main trials. Bit of work to be done but some positives generally.

Very disappointed 7th or so staying on, fancy he'll be better over 6f, but at the minute may be entered in the league at 4

Race 3 - Yinchuan Mosstree, My 5f horses been nowhere near my 6f horses but there's a batch come through who look decent enough. Likes to sit handy an has a decent kick, could grab a place

Very good run in 2nd, good chance my 5f horses are better than I thought

Race 5 - Nantong Stardust, In the first trials I actually ran the wrong Stardust. I ran Shenzhen Stardust accidentally instead of this. She's not bad based on times, but can't see her troubling the winner

4th, much better than I expeced as fanciy my 1m game is by far my weakest, very happy with that performance.

Race 7 - Memphis Willpower, Love this horse, a proper super stallion who, along with 2 other unrelated stallions has taken my 1m2 game to new heights. Always runs his race an loves firmer ground. Happy with 3rd,this is by no means my best 1m2 hors, so very promising

Race 9 - Denver Baraka, bit of a wonder mare when I bred her at the start of the last season, she just missed out on the upload window, an I still haven't completely caught her yet. She does need a fast pace, anything slow an she wont be near them

I had this horse for the upload window last season but didn't bother. Bit gutted now she won this> looed very good, and good chance she makes the sw=quad, however San Antonio Peachey who ran close in the 1m6 tends to be better over 1m4 so who knoews.

6th staying on, bit disappointed but possibly he's entered to run over 1m4 where he's better than Denver Baraka over 1m4 who won the 1m4 race,

Post Re: Trials Day 2 - Trainers Notes
NEWMARKET
Race 1 5F 2YO - Golden Glow - 12th ran as expected down the field
Race 3 5F 4UP - Private Revolution - 1st Exciting prospect bred from a game mare I bought and a game stallion. Not much of mine in his lines. Just bred him and is still racing in my game
Race 5 1M 4UP - Monolith - 2nd - Pleased with this as had him last season. He always finishes the same distance back in my trials so looks like I have good milers again
Race 7 1M 2F 4UP - Door to Door - 4th Ran below expectataions. She will be in my league team though
Race 9 1M 4F 3yo - Mayor of Simpleton - 3rd Exciting! May transform my 3yo lines. Been a struggle to get decent 3yos but they starting to appear now
Race 11 1M 6F 4UP - Horst du die Trommein -5th Marker horse only in to test Martin's German

DONCASTER
Race 2 2M Juvenile Hurdle 4YO - Infinite Sky - 5th Wasn't expecting much as heavy ground doesn't play to his strengths. Nice win Martin
Race 4 2M 5F Chase 5UP - The Ice King - 3rd Pleasing run. Again heavy ground probably against him abit so ran well
Race 6 2M 2F Hurdle 4UP - Great Debate - 2nd No match for the winner but happy enough as he is a the start of a resurrected 2m hurdle line after I lost the way at 2 miles for a few seasons in game
Race 8 3M 2F Chase 5UP - GI Joe - 1st Bred in season 26 and still winning some trials. Best in heavy but will be in my league team as an 8yo to defend his gold cup crown. Let the ground be heavy :)
Race 10 2M 6F Hurdle 4UP - God of the Mind - 6th Was curious to see how a firm ground horse went on heavy. Ran well enough but probably found it too far
RACE 12 4M 1F Chase 7UP - Avatar - 2nd Pleasing run for my GN hope over 4f too short

Thanks for Gray for doing the trials and Martin for the comms.

Just a note for new players. Gi Joe was bred in season 26 and is still competitive. I have others from around then that still run well but they the horses from the last league season. So if you get your game to late season 20's there is a chance that you may have a group horse. Not for every distance but possibly for some

Post Re: Trials Day 2 - Trainers Notes
Firstly. A massive thank you to Gray and Martin for the running of the races and comms on trails day 2. It's very much appreciated gents.

Very pleased with both sets of horses on the flat and jumps this week. Besides the faller, I had 11 horses in the first 3 home. Looking like I could have a very good season ahead and with further improvements to come I'm stocked

Big shout out to the old vets Ryan Tahmassebi and David Hooley for getting into the winners enclosure this week, if you didn't get the bug before I'm sure you both have it now  These trainers definitely make the league much more competitive and are top trainers.

Flat Horses

Race 1
Retail Dimension 2yo - 2nd - Congrats Ryan, just like old times mate :D Classy 2yo you have there and if he's better at 3yo you should have some serious fun with him throughout the season. Seems you and Mr Hooley are away and running now and another 7 weeks should stand you both in good stead. Was happy with my 2nd placed finish today, he could be a better 3yo just not got round to exporting him yet.

Race 3
Dangerous Florale 7yo - 3rd - Nice win Leon. Very fast horse you have there. Another pleasing effort to finish 3rd. Will be interesting to see how one of my games go before the start of the season. I've some very nice pairings going on right now and will hopefully get some better ones than what's in my CK right now.

Race 5
Coded Pass 7yo 1st - Great win by one of best older milers, he won that quite comfortably in the end pulling further clear near the line. I did some exporting last night from one of my other games and found some more exciting older milers who beat this horse. Very happy with were I'm at with this distance. Think I have some live G1 types for the upcoming season.

Race 7
Danderry Note 4yo - 1st - Little surprised by this win to be honest, he as a jumps pedigree and not a flat one. I didn't think my 1m2f horses wore any good. My trails are all over the place with this distance, around 8/10 of them take it in turns to win races and there is no stand out performer. Looking at this result there maybe are up to G1 level. Another one who as just entered my breeding barn.

Race 9
Trojan Attack 3yo - 2nd - Nice win Vinny. This is one of my best 1m4f 3yos and stayed on very well today. Not sure if I will enter him as an older horse just yet for the league and will be interesting to see what his offspring can produce. He's still racing in my game right now, but will shortly be in the breeding barn.

Race 11
Acorn Street 4yo - 2nd - This was one of the 2 I couldn't split in my trails and kindly asked Gray if the numbers was low can I have a 2nd entry. He's one of my best 2m flat horses and ran a solid race today. He's from my Super Stallion Isengard which a lot of my flat team come from. His offspring have an awesome burst of speed in the final 3f from home. This horse like a lot of my trail runners have just entered the breeding barn. Expecting his offspring to produce some fine horses in time.

NH Jumpers

Race 2
Rule Of Maze 4yo - 3rd - Congrats Martin, breed to hell out of that horse before the start of the season and cover as many mares as possible. You have a serious 4yoH on your hands mate :) Another fine placed finish for my horse. Not sure what to do with her. keep her for the 4yo which she is very good or put her in my team older and go the novice or open route. The way I keep on improving my 2mH division she could be one of my novices for the season.

Race 4
Jaynie Of Helliers 7yo - Faller - Started to come into the race 3f from home and a slow poor jump and then started to back track and eventually fell. Another division where 8/10 horses take it in turns to win and I've no stand out performer. Will have to do some extensive trails before the season kicks off.

Race 6
Marshs Zouz 7yo - 3rd - Congrats Mr Hooley (AKA my old Nemesis ) Bet it's nice to be back in the winners enclosure after all these years mate. I know how much you love a Champion Hurdle contender and also know how good of a trainer you are at breeding league horses. Thought he was to kick on over 3f out but ran out of gas in the end. Pleasing run all the same.

Race 8
Plague Runner 9yo - 2nd - Oh boy!!! What can I say about probably the best 3m Chaser to ever grace the league IMO. Awesome to see GI Joe back in action. It seems I'm heading in the right direction with my 3mC after this showing, but still have a lot of work to do. Plague Runner ran a blinding race and it could have been a different story if not for a slow jump at the last, when he was really starting to pick up. Take nothing away from the winner he is a absolute freak of chaser. Once in a lifetime horse.

Race 10
Rafaella Mylette 7yo - 1st - She's a very soft ground mare and loved it around here today under these conditions, won a shade cosily in the end. I rate her very highly and will be a asset for my team next season on anything Soft/Heavy. Her first offspring are coming along nicely as well and will hopefully get some good CK horses from her. Could be another one of those Wondermares I keep on raving on about.

Race 12
Sensitive Jules 8yo - 1st - I've still around 80/100 stayers I've not had the chance to trail properly yet. This is a positive sign of good things to come, I've been very fortunate to have had some great national horses in the past and been able to complete the grand slam of these type of races. It would be awesome to have some more to aim them at again.

Post Re: Trials Day 2 - Trainers Notes
I was VERY happy with my runners. Knew the 1m6 was not up to it and the only one who ran badly from my perspective.

Will try to improve a few more and get together a full stable for the flat to compete in handicaps.

Might have a look at some NH runner's after that

Thanks for the races and the amazing commentaries!!! I couldn't do those

The NH handicaps are very approachable for new trainers probably more so than the flat.
