Post Winning line and slow motion
Hi mark dont know if anyone as noticed this but during game play in the final 100 metres or so they appears to be duplicated finishing lines and going past the stands each time the dogs appear to slow down and move in slow motion.

I have not noticed this. It could be your machine is struggling. What is your machine spec? Also, press F and note the frame rate.

FPS is 15 at points then shoots upto 61. then goes back down to 15.

my mahcine spec is....( think this is right )

Dixonsxp
Bios:ver1.00 parttbl
Processor: intel(r) celeron(r) M CPU 420 @ 1.60GHz, ~1.6GHz

Is that the correct info?
Dont know if it makes any difference but starters orders works perfectly fine.

is there an offset button?, In SO4 if you press 'O' on the keyboard it changes the graphic offset. See if this works in the game. If not i gess make sure your drivers are upto date with the latest updates.

If the race sequence does not run at (or very close to) 60fps then it is not running as intended. GM2 uses a new rendering engine. Not the same one as SO4. Tests here showed it matched or improved on the so4 engine so I'm not sure what is happening on your machine. Please post the video card you have.

You have quite a low spec machine but I would expect the game to run ok. Try the latest patch released today (1.03) and check if this helps your frame rate.

Can you edit the forcescreenmode.txt file in the 'greyhound manager 2' folder and change the 'forcegfx=' item (on the second line) from from 'auto' to 'dx9' and let me know what happens.

Also what is your operating system (xp, vista etc.) and what is your system memory and video card?
