Hi Panther,
Wouldn't mind a copy of that schedule you've created. Sounds excellent!

Both sent.
Remember, if there's any races you think should be added, or anything else changed, let me know, as I can update it before I send it to Mark tomorrow.

All sent.
If you want me to add or change anything in the schedule, let me know in the next couple of hours or so, as I'll be sending the final copy to Mark later, so that he can add it as a patch.

lcalcutt wrote: Could we also make the Dorando a competition to give an extra marathon competition, 875m? I tried to add this, but then I remembered the other reason why one-off feature races don't work in the game. They don't let you enter your own dogs in them! So, unfortunately, I haven't been able to add the Dorando. Mikey1892 wrote: for me the irish derby shud be 525 so its slightly longer than the english
Yeah, I did originally have this race as a 525m, as it's 503m in real life. But in the original schedule I prepared it clashed with the Champion Stakes, so I moved the Champion Stakes a week forward to its 2009 date, and moved the Irish Derby back a few days, so that the heats started after the Champion Stakes final. I will change the Irish Derby back to a 525m race.

Here are the changes I have made so far to the schedule that I e-mailed to everyone:
Irish Derby changed to a 525m race.
Northern Sprint at Sheffield added (I felt there was a need for another sprint event early in the season. The Northern Sprint is a new event for 2010 and took place in late April, however this clashes a bit with the Golden Sprint, so I have brought it a few weeks forward to mid-March).
Kent St Leger moved back to its 2010 date in November (well, a few days before its real date, so that it finishes in plenty time for the Strategic Designs Cup heats!).
Ebor at Sheffield added, using its 2009 date at the end of September. This now means there are three feature events at 750m.
I've also made a few other subtle date changes which should hopefully improve the AI a little bit.
My plan was to e-mail the final version to Mark last night, but I got sidetracked, so I now plan to do this as soon as I get home from work today. If anyone has any other last minute suggestions before I do this, add them here and I will check the forum before e-mailing the final files to Mark.

Hi,
I swapped the files for the current files and I have been through the diary and found the issue that all events are at the incorrect tracks.
Is this purely because when I look at the tracks these have not been up-dated so are out of order, as to speak.
e.g. English Derby, Springbok etc are all showing at Swindon.
Kind regards,
Lee

Not sure why that would happen if you also switched back to the original courses file too. In my new courses file I changed the order for some of them, so that file won't match up with the original showcases file.
