This is something I have been thinking about. I am going to create a online league forum but as of yet nothing is planned. Once the dust settles we will see if there is a demand and the volunteers to run it.
Greyhound racing leagues can be very exciting. The uncertainty and quick fire nature of races make them appealing as does the heats qualification system.
The downside to the heats is that it involves a lot of work for each series.
My initial thoughts are that a league with less races and possibly even more space between races might be the way to go. That way there will be less of a load or organizers. At the end of the day though this is for the players and volunteers to decide.
Mark.

Alright thanks for the quick response Mark.
I do agree that the greyhound league is unique and very exciting. Hopefully it will happen

A league would have to be run by hand. TOM is not set up for it. I ran the Exhibition League and the Inaugural Season League for GM 1 and I can tell you that it is quite a bit of work. Cross your fingers that Dave will find the time to build it into TOM some day.
If you do not want to wait, I would suggest no less than 2 or 3 volunteers work on it. You can check ORLWorld forum's Greyhound Pro League's Exhibition and Inaugural Seasons for ideas on setting up schedules. One player created a pretty cool program in Excel for setting up the races with all of the player's submitted greyhounds each week. It all should be in there.

There you will find the Greyhound Pro League II and the various sub-forums.
I am having a ball playing GM 2 and could be tempted to compete if and when a league is organized.
Good luck if you decide to go forward with the league!

league
I would be happy to put my hand up to grade the races again like i did in the previous 2 seasons.
Really need a racing manager to run the races and update the dog files etc.

Hi
Does anybody know if the GM2 greyhound league is progressing?
I wouldn't mind helping to run this.
Does anybody know where I can start?
In the meantime people can send me their dog files and best distance and I can run races from via Create Race module and report the results back.
My email is lee.calcutt@hotmail.co.uk
Kind regards,
Lee

Re: League for GM2
Hi,
I can run a New Year competition, what distances would you prefer?
Let me know and I will advertise one.
What are your best times over the various distances? Any updates to the Track Records?
Feel free to email these over to me anytime.
Kind regards,
Lee

Re: League for GM2
Can someone please confirm whether there is going to be competitions? I will buy the game if there is. The best thing about starters orders (for me) is building a stable and competing against others. If someone can do this for greyhound manager, I will be in. I also know others that will be interested

Re: League for GM2
I'd be more than happy to run a league if I knew how to do it. In the shirt term I can set up competitions, if somebody suggests a distance and track I'll set it up like I have done before. I have a strong kennel, would like some competition, see the track records You can email me directly if u like lee.calcutt@hotmail.co.ukKind regards, Lee
