Is seems as though buying sprinters could be the place to start a new game. I'm definitely having more success with game horse sprinters than any other horse I've purchased. I might see if I can gradually increase the distance of my horses by breeding one furlong up at a time.

This is one of Little Leaders first offspring, went on to have a lovely 2 season career before going to stud. Remembering his Grandsire is the game horse I purchased(But with no pic!) called Born Special. The mare was a game horse too call Adolpha.

And this is Little Leader's first Filly

nice horses OTN real nice told you it would pay off
as you no i cant leave this wonderful game alone ha ha like a drug i cant stop
but you are spot on the sprint division is the very best place to start a game with 2yo auction horses

i found it to take far less seasons to get somthing trialing decent times compared to other distances
class breeding bloodlines seem to happen far quicker with sprinters

To my eyes Recession Rescue is a horse that will run his best over seven furlongs, so it is quite something he is still able to win over five furlongs. With seven furlong horses you can get away with running six, especially if there is a strong pace but I would seriously consider trying him over seven furlongs before you retire him.

Try and look at breeding him with a game miler, or even a ten furlong horse if there is one available and you'll be starting the lines to your mile division sooner than you'd imagined.

Good luck!

spot on duke just noticed that
on the nose that is some achievement winning a 5f g1 sprint with a 7 or 8f horse
i would try him over a mile worth alook but def a 7f horse
