The original portraits had a couple of duplicate files, with alternate spellings, ie musselburgh, musselborough; cartmel, cartmell, and so on, plus a couple of individual portraits that were spelt wrong, ie auteuile instead of auteuil; tipparery instead of tipperary, and so on. I've corrected what needed correcting and removed what needed removing, BUT, they will remain in everybody else's game, simply because when copy you the download into the destination, it just overwrites the relevant files, and leaves the rest in place, rather than replacing the folders entirely. However, they won't effect anything because the game won't recognise them, everything that needs to work will still work. I should point out by the way, I obviously only play the flat game, so while all the courses have been done, not just the flat, some of the dual-purpose courses have pictures based on the flat, ie Kempton as shown below. For jumps fans, they don't take much editing so it is easy enough to change.

The jockeys are the more temperamental to play with, numbers wise, than the trainers. Cutting off the excess fat so to speak, on the trainers/jockeys is next on my list, after I get this bleeding gfx makeover completed -

Images updated above. The trophy has taken a bit longer to nail, than planned, but we are getting there. I may need a guinea pig over the weekend, so if you are comfortable with transferring files in and out of the game, plan to be playing quite a bit of SO5 over the long weekend anyway, and don't mind adding a bit of button/icon hunting in the game to your SO5 play, let me know. (pm or email)

 Re: SO5 Mod discussion
I've done some tinkering with the graphics too and have come up with this. Uploaded with ImageShack.usI use the 720 file for my game and made copies for 768 and 800. They only work right in full screen. Yours if you want it. http://www.mediafire.com/?yzpdg5pi0999juo

I see you have a picture of the legend before the guineas as your background, how do you set a new picture as your background( sorry if this is a stupi question, just I don't have the game yet and just wondered whether you had to do anything fancy)?

 Re: SO5 Mod discussion
Nothing fancy at all Ubar. Just drop an image of the correct size into your SO5/gfx/bd folder and rename it as wp1. Make sure you put it into the folder with the correct resolution. Make sure its a bitmap image as well.

 Re: SO5 Mod discussion
Ok thanks. The correct size being the resolution you select on the main screen?

 Re: SO5 Mod discussion
Exactly, it depends upon what resolution you are playing in, there's a folder for each, just plonk it in the one you play in.
