at end of season
i save game on last day
retire to game pool
go to start of next season
then on day 1 of new season ctrl alt del (close so5)
reload so5
takes you back to last day of last season
he then can still race next season and you have a copy of him in gamepool

Ahh yeah thought so, so do you do that once to get one to breed in a different game and then again just to have a spare of each of his years? Also how do you get a copy of him at 2? I can only get them at 3, after their 2yo campaign

@ Pjr- That would be fantastic, Pj, if you would be happy to share your monster horse!

So what you need to do is start a new game (with the default SO5 schedule) and import the horse you're sharing into it, then go to My Documents > StartersOrders5 > Saves and highlight the .sav ext.sav ln.idx o.idx that correspond with that save game (so if you started the new game in slot 4, then the files you need to highlight would be 4.sav ext4.sav ln4.idx and o4.idx) Once they're highlighted, right click on one of them and click Add to "saves.rar" (if you have Winrar - I think it should be similar if you use Winzip). It should make a Winrar or Winzip file, containing all four save files, then you just need to upload that Winrar/zip to a filehosting site like Mediafire.com and post the link to it here.

Alternatively you can just copy your ttf.dat and back it up somewhere, then go into the game and delete all the horses from your Game Pool except for the one you're sharing. Then just upload the ttf.dat, and paste your backed up ttf.dat back into your saves file once your done (so it you won't have lost any of your game pool horses).

And that all sounds way more complicated now that I've written it down than it actually is  Thanks for offering to share Pjr!

@ Pjr- Awesome, thanks Pj! I've added him to the first post with a screenshot. I'm sure he'll be getting a record number of downloads, lmao.

Paul I downloaded your great horse but it's only on day 5 so I have to go through the entire year until it can be transferred into my game, just wondered if you do anymore please can you save it out with like a day or two to go, thanks mate. :D And I think this transferring horses between games from other players is a fantastic idea so well done Sabella. :D

Post Re: Horse Exchange - [New Horses!]
I was just playing around with seeing if I could get the horses to download and work. I got Sabella's working and PJ's but Gold Impact has only got the horse file, not the other save files... Just so they know, hopefully GI can come on and remedy this because I'd really like to take a look.

Still not sure if I want to use them but I certainly want to have a look and see what I can do with them.

Super cat,

I tot with the horse file copy into your Documents/startersorders5/saves/ and then rename the horse file as ttf.dat and you will be able to see the horse in your games transfers? If not I dont know how I should do it. Care to guide? :P

I'll try that. Sabella posted a guide further up for PJ.
