Re: Horse Exchange - [New Horses!]
Wouldn't it work if it was the entire sav.file which includes the idx. files as well just a suggestion.

Re: Horse Exchange - [New Horses!]
Not sure if anyone still follows this but i thought pjrhodes might be interested to see how breeding his horses in my game turned out, one of the first was my horse armoured, a stallion, winner of 4 group 1 and 2 group 3 races so far, and the christmas hurdle grade 1 in only his second hurdles race at the age of 6.
Bred from Missile and Blast from the past
The group 1 wins
St james palace stakes 1m 1min39.55 champion stakes 1m2f 2min10.03 Breeders cup mile 1m 1min37.77 Mile championship (kyoto) 1m 1min38.03
Grade 1
2m christmas hurdle (kempton) 3min39.63

Re: Horse Exchange - [New Horses!]
I have another couple just starting to make their impression on group races, unfortunately this experiment occured just before i decided to enter a league team, so have ended up selling most of them on, making races a bit harder for myself!
I did keep a couple, which i have gelded to make sure i can`t breed them and try to enter them in the league
will put up some details later

will put up some details later Good idea to geld them be very careful that your lge team have no other trainers lines through them Mark has security software built in that can detect this even from 10000 generations back you will love the lge its great fun mate if you do a stable tour i will stick you in the newsletter will be good to get profiles on new trainers good luck

Re: Horse Exchange - [New Horses!]
My stable is very unprepared, as it was a late decision to enter, but thought i would stick a few in, try for handicap or listed races, see how it goes and where i stand for next season.
Mainly concentrating on 6f and 1m4f/1m6f, as i managed to find decent gamebred stallions for these distances, still waiting on a mare to equal them.
My biggest set back was i got too hooked on the idea of winning the Aintree Grand National, best i managed was a couple of 5th places, have had a few irish, scottish and welsh national winners though. Should have some interesting yearlings for this purpose in my next season.
I named my stable Albermarle Road, as thats where i currently live, which if you have been to the York races, you may have noticed is the road just off the racecourse. Have only been playing SO for around a month.

Re: Horse Exchange - [New Horses!]
Armoured has now added some more wins over hurdles, still unbeaten over them.
2m Champion Hurdle Trial (grade 2) 3min39.41 (going good) Haydock
2m Champion Hurdle (Grade 1) 4min11.34 (going heavy) Cheltenham
2m top novice hurdle 3min35.95 (going good) Aintree
Another gelding from hemmingway and blast from the past, won 2 group 3 on the flat, looks more promising now that has made the switch to hurdles, has won 2 grade 2, including national spirit hurdle at 2m4f in 4min42.31, going soft, fontwell

Re: Horse Exchange - [New Horses!]
I just wanted to check something...
I don't know that I will play in the league, probably to advanced for me, but just in case I have a question regarding it. At one point I downloaded some of these horses that are on this page. I used them in my game in game slot 1. After a while I decided to start a new game under game slot 2. Game slot 2 does not have any of the downloaded horses from the exchange. However, I noticed that in game slot 2s Hall of Fame the downloaded horses were mentioned. So, if I wanted to play in the league do I need to completely delete the downloaded horse files or am I okay as long as I don't enter offspring of those downloaded horses into the league? I hope this makes sense.
