 Re: Horse Name Database
I will at some point try it out and see if it works, got quite a few new names for s06 so will try and put them in the database and see if they pop up in the game.

 Re: Horse Name Database
Good idea Taurus, let me know how you get on.
Of course, if it does work, and the new names are used, then we could start to build and share our own horse name database (maybe with Kev too?) to have 30, 40 or even 50,000 horse names?

 Re: Horse Name Database
Yeah my previous posts are missing as well, which Mark has explained why this happened, and like I said earlier I apologize too for saying it doesn't work when it does.

 Re: Horse Name Database
Maybe each time if you add one you keep a record and then you update the number at the top- maybe that will make a difference.

 Re: Horse Name Database
Well editing the waypoint files there was a number that was the number of waypoints and if I didn't change that when adding/subtracting waypoints it didn't work

 Re: Horse Name Database
I agree gs63,it doesnt matter if you have the right number at the top or not, ive tried adding to the database and it still works, but less than 16076 and it crashes, for those who have ocds about this file its a good thing.

 Re: Horse Name Database
The number at the top needs to match the number of the names in the list.
edit: Assumed it was a soft counter at the top of the file. Seems the file has been hard coded elsewhere.

 Re: Horse Name Database
Yep. The number at the top is of little relevance.
