Post Craven Photos.
I thought some of you might like to see a couple of photos I took of the runners in the Craven in the winner's enclosure:

4th Tawhid:

Image

3rd Dundonnell: (gorgeous horse, needs more time to grow into his frame and strengthen. But he really is beautifully put together.)

Image

2nd Havana Gold: Not that visually impressive, he is quite small and petite. Look how big Spencer looks on him and how big Toronado is in the back ground compared to him! But he did well today.

Image

1st Toronado: He's a really nice horse and he did it well, quite imposing. But I wouldn't be totally shocked if Dundonnell turned out to be the best of these in the end.

Great pics, wish I could have gone today but was busy, will definitely be at the guineas, but I don't know yet who I'd rather see Olympic glory or toronado, and as you say if toronado looks the more mature this is very early season dundonell could have more improvement to come.

Thanks Guys. When my eyes aren't feeling quite so windswept and hayfever-ey tomorrow I'll try to find a better one of Dundonnell, I thought I got a really good one of him side-on in his rug. Comparing that photo with Toronado and you wouldn't believe that they were the same age!

Ubar you missed some good racing, but it was COLD on the course with gusts which nearly blew us all over all afternoon! Lots of people bailed even before the Craven because they were cold and wet!

Nice pics Supercat. Takes me back a few years when I lived in Newmarket myself, quite a few cold days spent on the course then as well! In those days you could get into the course for just a couple of quid! Happy days.

As long as it wasnt as bad as July cup day was it should have been ok. The craven unlike other feature races at newmarket is also remarkably late due to not being governed by te tv- how it should be, keeps the crowd there longer. Makes me remember when I went to fakenham New Year's Day this year and the 2m maiden hurdle got held up for some low class seller at Wolverhampton by the tv companies.

Hey SuperCat,

Did you get any pics of any other Juddmonte runners over the past two days?

I'm an admin on the 'Juddmonte Farms' Facebook page and wouldn't mind using your pics on there, with your permission of course?

Matt

Hi Matt, unfortunately I was working so these are the only ones I got. But I do have a few more of Dundonnell so if I find a better one I'll post it here, I will go through them soon just catching up with a few other things first. If you want I can email them to you. You're welcome to use them only £500 a piece!
