				  The Derby

I am hoping to have time to put together a preview special for the Derby on Friday but don't want to leave it until after 6 to start putting it together. Therefore if you intend to enter a runner could you email me with its name and if possible a line about its chances, pref racing conditions and tactics etc. If you email me at martinleedham@yahoo.co.uk the info will stay out of the public domain until it is too late for anyone else to change anything so you won't be giving anything away to your rivals by posting it on here. Cheers

						Happy to post mine here
  PLYMOUTH ROCK form 6,5,2
Not ground dependent but anything good or better will do nicely
Does not mind front running but that was his downfall the first 2 weeks got swallowed up late on.
Ran a stormer in the Chester Vase just beat by a head again not quite having enough left in the tank Suspect he is not quite good enough at this level I'm sure he will have a battle on his hands getting past anything Thunderspark Steve or John enters but stranger things have happend

And mine : assuming he is not cut based on rating.
Prohibition Almighty - Hold up runner with a good turn of foot over the last 3f. Stable and connections have low expectations, will need to be at his very best to trouble the top 6.

Highland Croft is out of his depth in this race, but when I entered him there was only 7 runners, so if the gods are kind he might be competetive for 5th place.
He runs at an even pace, so may feature in early part of the race, but will probably fade badly when the class horses make their move. His best 2 runs so far have been over softer ground, so the going may not suit.
The downside is, I may ruin his handicap for the rest of the season, so if I have time, I will check the race runners late Friday afternoon and if there is a large field, I may scratch him.

My Horse is Dushyator, likes Epsom but not really sure of his running style. Bred so long ago I'm not really sure how he run's and how good he is. Probably aiming for a top 4.

I bred my two 1m4f horses Glacial Storm- Dushyator on the 31st May, like a lot of my flat and jumpers I'm learning about them on the fly. I've bred so few horses the last 6 months( heads been all over the shop) and the older ones I cant remember much about them. Normally i'll know everything about my horses and where they are going but just winging it this season. How is u breeding program going !

Only having a laugh John Thanks for your breeding tips from earlier on! In my single player game it's really paying off but I still have a long way to go before it comes across with my league stable. Cruising burst is my weak link at the moment and as I play a stock standard game only and it will take sometime before it comes through....although I do have horses in my stable (single player) that have improved cruising burst. So that is a positive sign. Like I mentioned elsewhere - my league stable is better than my last season stable but so to is everyone else's lol My too biggest over sights were that I didn't start breeding until around year 40 in my single player and that it was only a month or so ago I realised I could breed with horses outside my stable lol So my own worst enemy hahahaha Anyway John - I am expecting a forward showing from your horse in the Derby. Good luck - it should be a cracking race
