 Advice needed.
Hi guys
been running some trials in ck and i have a horse that runs very consistent times from 1 mile through to 1m4f (never out of first 3), i want to enter the horse into the league during upload and would like to enter it in numerous races through out the season at distances from 1 mile - 1m4f, would i be punished for this if the horse wasnt as good at a certain distance as my trialing suggests??
thanks
scotty

What l would say mate is put prefered distance as 1m 2f and run it in that distance race pal. After that race you should see if its staying on at the end or dropping like a lead balloon. You should then tell which it would be best at. The problem comes when a horse runs at say 1m 4f and then drops all the way down to 1m. It just looks like the horse has been run at the wrong distance to achieve a low rating to get a low weight for the 1 mile race. Even tho this might not of been the plan the rules are rules and have to be given to everyone. So my suggestion is run it at 1m 2f race and go from there, as a step up to 1m4f or a drop to 1m would not be that bad mate.
