Just to make it clear... I am not one of the two against it.
I was just initally querying the idea, then stating it won't be an option that i'd take up personally. I lost my game before christmas, had to start over and it's a long and arduous process (especially with spiralling workout), but i'm confident i'll have a couple for next year and just build during the season with the continuous expansion of stable allocations.

I have not read all the replies but have been linked this topic and asked to comment. If this was allowed it would go against the grain of everything argued in the past so the answer is without hesistation NO it SHOULD NOT be allowed.
Hat off to Rich for putting this forward to its members though and not keeping things behind closed doors.

Its not interbreeding but its not FAIR on other trainers. If them horses are entered and begin to win races you're pretty much stealing victories from other trainers.
If other trainers dont mind and this is allowed then so be it but I think its a daft idea and just puts the league back a step and fair play goes out of the window. Why would someone want to run someone elses stable? You still have horses in the league?
Did you not back your game up?
P.S Well done Scatters. League won in week 2 or 3?

I thought it was unfair too, but as it’s Colin’s stable it will only win handicaps anyway so why not!
To be honest I think it’s really up to those in the league to decide, it’s their league so it should be their choice in my view.

Its a BIG no from me guys.
Within 5 seasons of starting a new game i can get horses that are upto the standard of horses i bred after 50 seasons.(Admittedly there are not exactly setting the league alight but i like been involved)
Colins stable was without a doubt in the top 3 stables last year(the league was a lot stronger, scatters wasnt dominating).
So by colins stable been entered it gives other trainers a lot less chance of been competetive.
If Colin was entering his self we'd have to lump it because he'd be mopping up just like scatters.
If this happens, nothing against you Ryan, But i will pull my stable.

id just like to say ive spoken to colin by email - basically i thanked him for his offer but we both said that it isnt right to go ahead with it because if one trainer is upset by it then it isnt worth it - i would rather wait for so5 than upset any of the trainers in the league.
i really hope that none of you think i was trying to cheat and gain an advantage over u , it was just a way of overcoming the repeated loss of attempted starting up games. Both colin and i never discussed doing anything underhanded, i spoke to rich about it instantly and we wanted to put it to you guys on the forum. I fully understand your opinions and if i was in your shoes i suppose i would be likely to feel the same way - especially due to the fact that esagents stable is undoubtedly better than mine was.
please guys do not feel any animosity or ill regard towards me as i definitly wouldnt do anything to anger any other trainers.
cheers everyone!

Good discussion guys, this is how it should be done. At least everyone knows now where the limits are.
To be honest I think competing with your own horses is more rewarding, even if they aren't winning.
I'm a big fan of 3rd, 4th and 5th place
