bit disappointed I am not in the race now as I really enjoyed the MM series during the season. just didn't think my horse would be able to do anything over 4m4 as he struggled in the national at the end. also, only have a small NH stable as was just trying it out this season. hopefully I'll have more horses next season and could be a bit more flexible if I have a few iron horses. only had one this season so it was a case of one or the other for me.
best of luck to all in the race. will be interesting to see how aliceva gets on with what should be closer weight allocation on the others!

I actually will be aiming 2 horses at these races for next year, literally with MM in mind l will work hard to get a stayer that can run at 4mile too, adds bit more competition into my breeding

To be fair I have 3 or 4 horses now that beat drama in life convincingly,
He stays longer than the mother-in-law, If he gets round he'll clock under 9mins 40secs with 10stone8 on board everytime regardless of how the race is run so I've got my fingers crossed!!

i know its fairer weights than GN Mike but my lad doesnt stay 4m4f - hes a 4miler at his best , 4m2f he can get also . Off level weights id be massively confident even at the extra distance but no matter what the weight is, top weight is hard to win with in nhc for some reason - Craig and hooley will back me up on this!
id be shocked if he won, but even more shocked if he didnt go close enough
there are some very good 4m4f horses in the race with loads less weight tho!!

also i think his two performances at punchestown were just as impresive as GN run if not better!!
Aanyway he is the best horse ive ever had and hes done more than enough for me this season - just wish MM final had been a G1 so he could of shown his true class
