 Re: UKRA WEEK 3 REVIEWS
Nice one Paul, good to see hard work paying off!! Well done all winnners and placers, the league is becoming much tighter and more competitive which is great to see, especially so many people having winners!! Was nice to have a winner myself so early into the season, few good runs and a few stinkers but that's the way it goes:
R1 - Equalitay 4/27 - HUGE run, was not expecting this, could be Ascot bound.
R17 - Sonic Honoured 1/15 - Over the moon, but this was expected, I knew she was great as soon as she came through the yard and had her first run, demolishes everything I've ever had at 2m at home (and there's been some good ones) and was devastated last week when she pulled up. She's going for the big one the Melbourne Cup and the roof will come off if she wins it.
R19 - Frizzarilla 2/23 - Massive run from stall 19, thought he could win when cutting through the field at the 2 pole, considering he was 7th in the Derby last year this is what he should be doing and looks to have improved as a 4yo, should definitely be winning in the future.
R22 - Aneedaeveningoff - 9/13 - Was left with way too much to do and could have finished closer, tempted to put him away to go for the Ebor.
R23 - Appleaday - 10/22 - Wasn't in peak condition before hand and pushed very wide on the turn, needs to really be waited with until the last minute, she does have a big race in her, I can guarantee you that!
R27 - Rush Of Blood - 20/26 - struggled in the ground really, had no chance. Will be hoping for some firmer ground and may need to be dropped to 7f if necessary.
R35 - Amour Propre - 5/11 - Very unlucky here I think, ran into a solid wall of horses which would completely destroy any horses style of running over 5f, still confident of a big run next time.
R5 - Casseassi - 8/18 - Big run in the lincoln, better than I expected her to fare could pick up a handicap hopefully.
R7 - Fire Power - 5/15 - Another solid but not special run from a good horse. Faring much better than last year but still promised a lot more at home!
R8 - Sea Moor - 16/17 - no excuses, very bad run from a good draw, back to the drawing board.
