Re: National Hunt talk reaction and banter
WOOHOO Scottish Grand National. Shame the jockey jumped off last week in the Aintree version but I will definitely settle for that. Now to watch how the others got on, am not so hopeful there

Re: National Hunt talk reaction and banter
Had to watch through 29 races of hard luck stories and terrible efforts to finally be rewarded with Grade 1 success in the final race and again (see the flat reaction and banter thread) it was with a gamebred. I really could have saved a lot of time this year by just going out and buying my league team I will write an in depth guide for all you trainers who like to breed about how to win group/grade 1 races by just going shopping

Will let him have a crack at a grade 1 in the last week as he's done me proud and got my only 2 wins in the NH league.

Will let him have a crack at a grade 1 in the last week as he's done me proud and got my only 2 wins in the NH league. Update: Finished the season with 3 wins, all courtesy of Beaumont Babe who won me a grade 1 in the final race. I never expected him to be that good. The 2 downsides were: 1. The jockey jumping off at Aintree where he was running off 132 and the next 4 home in his grade 1 win were all rated 150+. 2. When I transferred him at home from my flat game to my jumps I had a computer crash and lost the horse to both games . The only file I have is the one that was exported for the league. Is there any way of retrieving this file for my game in order to breed from him and if so can it be explained in simple english to a computer luddite like me Finally a huge thanks to everyone involved in running the league for all the hard work. It's been my first season and great fun. I hope to be involved in the next one but am getting married in mid August, then going away for 2 1/2 weeks so I may not be allowed much time!!! I don't want to be divorced before the honeymoon is over

Great to hear you enjoyed the season so much, Pommard. I hope most of the new trainers found it a good experience?
