Three runs for handicapping?

Have the rules been updated?

I cant have runners in Dubai, at least the G1's, as none of my horses have ran yet.

As for champion trainer 80% of my horses were bred last year, so i doubt it.

Some are Australian bred, is that allowed?

here is what Gray said

Once again me as the handicapper would like to see at least three runs to get in any group 1 final in week 13 you can run a horse above and below its best distance to get 3 runs easily I would like Leon or Jamie to consider this it would be fairer for all than having a horse to say have a one run in a 1m 7f Maiden finish 6th gets a rating of 85 then appear in the final over its best distance of 2miles and Win easily that just doesn't seem fair and would leave a sour taste in my mouth and that's my own opinion.

As far as I'm aware (and unless it causes problems in TOM) then you can debut horses in Listed/G3/G2 races if you need to but you will be given an inflated rating for doing so, so would be advisable not to run handicappers in these races but I guess you won't have handicappers.

At present you can in NH but not on the flat (g2/g3). It will require me to temporarily change the race codes for the flat. or move the g2/g3 to the same code as listed races which unraced horses can enter( Sorry i got mixed up which one of the flat and NH allowed this)

If there is enough support I can do it for week 2 and 3

Once again the rules need to be clearly stated and stickied on the forum. Or we could end up with a situation like we did halfway through last season where someone abuses the rules and goodwill of the league. In other posts Leon has said there are no changes to flat rules except stayers can run over any distance over 2m if competing in a 2m+ maiden. That is confusing and misleading for new trainers and for those that dont read every single thread?

I have no intention of running Rapid Headway once then heading straight for Australia. I will be able to run him four or five times before winning in Melbourne. 8)

I missed the smiley off the Australia comment, just trying to make a joke.

Good luck in the Guineas. I know you've worked hard to win one of those.

Obviously im biased as otherwise i wont be able to run half of my horses, but thats my fault for throwing the toys and missing week1. I wasn't aware of any rule changes but can wait for listed races if need be.
