All ran and sent to Alex on the weekend, he will put them up soon.

I didn't get any horses from you Steve.

Up take wasn't massive for the 2 weeks, so I'm unsure how much people want on going races. I'll wait to see if people want more. Or someone else can run a set of races in a week or 2

Great.. Well I sent them to the same email as the last lot that you got, so... Good to know all efforts have been a total waste.

I'd say the league is finished.

I must say the time between each season is to long and that's when trainers disappear. And with Leon taking a break from last season and with everyone thinking SO8 would be out now and the time it is out you looking at least 6 months before the first season of that. i agree Steve I think the league will be gone.

When trainers like Josh, Paul not even entering the flat trials says it all its now March.

Thanks for running these. Would be interested to now the reason for the delay for the new season is it lack of interest or lack of volunteers or something else.

Rather play other games SO7 is boring for me. SO8 was promised ages ago but Mark found revenue easier elsewhere and SO8 takes a backseat, not that I blame him I would have done the same.
Volunteers always seem hard to find unsurprisingly. Dropbox pricing or workarounds don't help. Handicapping is the worst not going to expand on that apart from it takes ages.
Also unless you're prepared to start new games looking for a bigger edge you will be left behind as the game seems to slowly level out all your attempts once you have the best you can breed in any particular game.
To me apart from a few players such as you Matt everyone knew there place. Ok Josh improved, god knows how many starts he made to find those horses and good on him to have that resolute.

I'm going to massively disagree with u last point, the good thing about the game is u could be a late starter with the game and still be competitive, the ones who were the best when the game started didn't mean they were going to be best later on. Look at how far back Paul ended up, he was at the top to start but ended up in midfield. I wanted to show that u could start last and still be able to be competitive in the league, I think my horses would have been competitive with the best with having zero idea of how good their were going in. People were warned about waiting 6 months for a new season, I'm going to admit to it now but the league was better run when Gray ran it. That's just a fact.

Bit negative in here. Cheer up everyone.

Steve - as i emailed i'm sorry i missed your email, but I did mention to let me know in here because thats my old junk email and things can be hard to find. I also didn't just run them because I have so much time on my hands. I have 3 kids under 7, weekends are fairly busy.

It's been a long game cycle, running the league is hard work from what i've seen. I only ran 10 races a week and that took up 1-3 hours a weekend. With all the advances in technology there must be some better ways to speed it up and make less work for who ever is the main person/s running it.

I'm happy to put on a few more races in a few weeks, but it seems everyone is waiting for SO8 or having a break.

Mark is putting out a lot of videos on Twitter X about it. Unsure how close the main people that run the league are with Mark. Would be good if we could just upload and then it raced on the servers. A bigger online player pool would help sell more of the game. Most games these days are more about the online/playing against others.

My track record for entering into exhibition races has never exactly been strong. But if the league started tomorrow I’d have two full teams ready. I am not playing full steam right now but I am ticking over and would try and support the running of the league races again if one was started.

I take the view there is enough interest but without a date and communication from Alex on whom so much will depend people assume the worst and will drift away. Setting a date and sticking to it is key.

Josh
