I would like to see the top trainers give advice without fear of being called a cheat etc I for one would love to become a better league trainer and I'm sure the top trainers would love a stronger challenge, if any advice gives a new trainer a stable star it can only be good for the league.

Couldnt agree more

When I trial my horses in the CK if any boil over (red triangle) I won't use them, I have had horses that are unsettled (pink triangle) that run well in the CK but I try and only use horses that are relaxed (blue triangle) in there races. Gelding colts can help with this, but laid back colt will run blue most of the time.

The main reason I use this method is to have all my stable in peak condition so I can export all my horses on the same day, which saves me a lot of time.

Yes l think its a tough 1 Thunder, after all thats what the gelding button is there for and you dont want to spend seasons getting a Monster horse for it to get worked up on his day (ALTHOUGH THIS DOES HAPPEN IN REAL LIFE) but think it was intended for once Gelded thats that...No breeding!!! but obviously CTRL ALT DEL still enables playrs to breed if he turns out to be league material. I myself dont use, but players do play there games different and that should be up to them. Can see the debate both ways and yes my 3 trials dont prove nothing l guess

Sorry doesn't make much sense to me kenny mate. There's no real reason to use ctrl-alt-del except to geld them. I can't see how fitness has anything to do with it.
Not having a go at anyone, but people are giving this tip out as a way to improve your stable, people are obviously using this method and why?
Cos they think or know it works.

Once most of your horses are laid back you don't need to geld, I have just got into the habit of gelding all my colts.

My league stable has 8 3yo+ geldings and 11 3yo+ fillies/mares in my game I always had more females that ran well in the the CK than males, I feel gelding doesn't improve my colts as some of my 8 3yo+ geldings can't beat my fillies/mares and are only in my stable because they are my best 3yo male miler etc.

I'm sure if gelding improves colts I would have more males than females in my stable.

The ctrl-alt-delete method has been with us since first Starters Orders game release, that's the way most of the players play the game be it to make money or use it for other ways or means, I don't think anyone is going to stop it over night just like that, I am one of those people that use it, yet I have a terrible stable, if they are to say tomorrow in the league that it will be policed, I would be the first person to up and leave the league, people need to understand for the many times that it has been said on here, play the game any which way you want at home and on the day of the league races may the best horse win, now that is what you call realism, I have been out of the league for years this would be my first year back you could say that I am a newbie when it comes to playing the league I for one wouldn't want the top noch trainers to change their game play just to suit mine, there, I had my say.

If I have runners in July and early August I would be exporting my horses on different days, this way I have no runners in July and early August and can export all my horses in peak condition on the same day. I feel this saves me a lot of time.

Yes me neither this is what makes the top races so good to watch the top trainers battling it out at the finish. I dont use this technique but have still come close to winning a race so it surely cant make that much difference if any. It would be a nightmare for me not to use Art Money at the start and waste time making money other way. Yes l agree this takes the fun out the game but lm playing the game mostly for the league anyway so l would continue to use art money classed as cheating or not.
