R11 - Swinging 5th - Softer ground helped but the top weight was far too good.
R13 - Wafer 12th - Lost all momentum when short of room 1f out.
R16 - Relentless 1st - Gritted this one out, not sure what to target this one.
R17 - Maze 1st - Surprised me in this big handicap.
R18 - A Medium Hello 3rd - Another good run in a big race.
R20 - Electronic Earth 15th - Disappointing again, 1m trip next.

Well done all winners

R12 Bright Orange (1st) - really pleased with the run if a little surprised to win as I thought the trip was on the sharp side for her.
R17 Hands On The Clock (11th) - top weight. struggling from a long way out and was well beaten.
R18 Prophecy (7th) - solid effort over a trip short of his best.
R19 Cry Me A River (7th) - not up to listed class. will try and find a handicap for her.
R20 Formidable (12th) - ran well for a long way and will be more at home over 1f shorter.

well done all winners and placers.

I do that , its a good trick for all newbies to try. It makes sure the best horse goes to the races. I'll be doing it this season with my sprinters, I picked 4 sprinters this season because it was my strongest postion.

I see u had some good races at Meydan, what's u derby horse and how did u jumpers do and what did u think of it.

Meydan overall was a success even though I was slightly disappointed with the ride Take Notice got in the World Cup. She regularly runs 2:6.7 there and I firmly believe she could have won with a better ride. That's racing for you.

Came back on Day 2 to have perhaps the worst day ever. No surprise though. Sets me up for handicaps and I can look forward to not seeing J Taylor's name as much when making entries.

My jumpers are running pretty good so far with a Group placing to show. No embarrassing runs so far. All in all I'm enjoying it and wish I'd started it a little sooner.

Zeltweg (10th) - Disappointing run but there were probably some very well handicapped horses in this. Give it a few weeks and he can win again
Nice Pair (2nd) - Good run, hopefully she will be a decent handicapper this season
Sweet Luna (13th) - Not bad, a furlong shorter will probably be her optimum trip
Get What She Wants (13th) - Slightly disappointing after her 3rd over 1m6f last week but was always likely to get outpaced here.
Stand and Stare (20th) - Looks like he was flattered to finish in the money last week.

Always nice to get some money on the last so a 2nd will do nicely.

Thanks to the team for running the races, roll on tomorrow

Really enjoyed my first week in the league after thinking i'd get destroyed in every race this is how it turned out:

R10: Brendan Breckon - 15th Considering he's one of the only 1m horses i had i expected him to be about 3f behind but no he was in touch this gave me some hope as i had just looked at sprinters really for this upload.

R14 Nell Gwyn: Konyeyranka - 7th a horse i expected to get outclassed nearly came home with some prize money and considering she is twice the horse on A/W-Dirt a banker in my head for next week at Kempton.

R15 Craven: Immortal Verse - 11th Out the back stayed on late Handicapping here we come!

R19 Tat Sprint: Winning Magic - 9th Beat a few home which was pleasing hopefully can pick up a handicap too though haven't looked at the schedule yet.

R22: Ivan Grozney - 12th Looked outpaced possibly steps up to 6f or try a nursery.

R24: Rosette Stone - 6th Came home like a train after being out the back really impressed fancy her to get a handicap at some point and may step up to Group 3/Listed company

R28: Merrick Winner - 5th The best saved till last the only one making ground from the back and stayed on strongly to the end possible Middle Park tilt later in the season.

Wasn't expecting much from my flat team. Only entered a few horses so that I could compete in the dual code challange, but had a surprisingly good couple of the days.

1 x 1st
1 x 2nd
2 x 3rds
2 x 5ths

The other 9 horses all finished well down the field.

Hope Delights who won a 1m 6f maiden is probably the best horse in my stables. She won all my trials from 1m 4f up to 2m 2f. If she does well in her next few runs, I might run her in the St. Ledger.

My expectations at the start of the season was to be competetive in a few handicaps. So far most of my horses are rated about 95, so will be about top weight in any handicap races.

R22 Hedgeley Road (7th) - got outpaced at halfway before running on late.
R24 Hanging Garden (4th) - very good run. I thought he would weaken last half furlong but he hung on well.
R25 Tombstone (14th) - low grade handicapper who doesn't stay a yard further than 1m4f. ran here to get a rating.
R26 Ned Kelly (1st) - delighted with that. got to the front 1f out and managed to hang on.
R29 Sir Ivor (3rd) - ran well and had every chance if good enough. might be better over a bit shorter.
R30 Scriptwriter (8th) - much better than Ned Kelly in ck but not showing it in the league. another disappointing run even if the jockey did give him a lot to do.

A decent enough week 2 for me with 2 winners in Bright Orange and Ned Kelly and some good runs in defeat from Happy Ranger, Hanging Garden and Sir Ivor. Formidable also showed promise and will improve for a drop in trip.

well done to all winners and placers.

Only 3 runners today. All in the money

R22 Storm Raid - 2nd - The soft ground probably helped and will better over an extra furlong

R26 Violent Action - 3rd - Got to far back and ran well for 3rd - Not many options now not good enough for group races and too high in the handicaps

R28 - Jar of Honey - 3rd - Another good run and looks like will be competing at the top level when stepped up in trip

Congrats to all the winners

R25 - Megara 7th - Similar run to last week, nothing special.
R28 - Valkyrie 9th - Much better run in unexposed maiden, I'm useless with 2yo's.
R30 - Split Second 4th - Not as bad as I thought, need to find what suits him first.

Good week, well done all winners
