Race 11 -- Sandringham Handicap -- £60000 -- Ascot -- Flat -- 1m1f -- 0-90 -- Open -- 3+ -- Good

Katy Bird - Finally got off the mark and did it well in a 0-85 handicap, plenty more improvement to come and a big chance if staying.
Amazon - Best run came in week 1 in the Spring Cup and also finished 9th in the Royal Mile, unsure if the step up will suit.
Caroon - 6th in the Lincoln Handicap was a great run and any sort of run like that will see him towards the front.
Queen Of Swords - Ran a big race when 3rd in the Royal Mile and any more improvement would see him bang there if staying.
Sadafiya Rcam - Will definitely stay, Maiden run was very impressive but done nothing since, dropping in class and if returning to maiden form, has every chance.
Free Why - Looked unexposed until finishing well down the field in a 0-90 last time out, may struggle off this mark.
Dispol Grey - Ran a good race in 0-90 class in week 3 but done nothing since, should improve now back in 0-90 company.
Paddy Jacob - Struggled until dropping into 0-80 company last time and finishing 3rd, steps up in class here and may find this a bit too tough.
Saeson Vavoom - Did well in the King Richard III Stakes when 6th but not impressed since, unsure the trip will suit here.
Flawless Victory - Runs have been anything but flawless until finishing 2nd in 0-85 company last time out, will get the trip but last run over trip and class ended down the field.
Saint Lucia - Has run reasonably well over 10/11f without causing any shocks, normally outpaced over 1m2f which doesn't bode well for the lower trip.
Kahfre - Not done much but has been running in much higher classes, don't think it'll win but could be interesting to watch now in this grade.

This has turned out to be one of the most competitive races on the card with a lot of unexposed handicappers in the field.
There are holes to pick though and may of the runners don't have the experience over the trip but one dropping down markedly in class is SADAFIYA RCAM. If running anywhere near that maiden form it'll take all the beating and expect huge improvement now significantly down in grade. Katy Bird has to be feared after last run, Queen Of Swords and Caroon also have the form in the book to run a big race.

1st - Sadafiya Rcam
2nd - Caroon
3rd - Katy Bird

Race 12 -- Norfolk Stakes -- £80000 -- Ascot -- Flat -- 5f -- Group 2 -- Open -- 2YO -- Good

Balthazaars Commander - Newcomer for Peter Cahill, he's touted other 2yo's as his best so this one is best watched.
Gunfire - Not shown enough in the form to prove he can rumble at this level.
Higginshaw - Newcomer for solid trainer Martyn Cairns, best watched though going straight in a group level.
Lightsabre - The same as above applies to Kevcon's charge, best watched in this grade.
Momentus - Won the colts maiden in week one before just being seen off in the Brocklesby, got to have a massive chance.
Noctal - Newcomer for the leading trainer, his horses have been superb this year so expect this one to be up there.
President's Day - Cleaned up since entering handicap level but has 3 and a bit lengths to find with Momentus.
Sir Pontos - Did ok in his first maiden over the flying five but disappointed at Chester, not enough there in the form to suggest a win here.
Swift Zip - Dropped away rapidly in the final stages in most races. He'll ensure a proper 5f sprint ensues.
Transparent - Like President's Day has made hay in handicaps after being beaten in Maidens, will need to improve once again.

This all revolves around MOMENTUS who has the best form in the book by a fair way. He should see this lot off comfortably unless newcomers Noctal or Balthazaars Commander prove to be useful. President's Day and Transparent the best of the rest

1st - Momentus
2nd - Noctal
3rd - Transparent

Cannot wait for that race, I think it looks the best on paper. Genuinely hoping Starzilla Quay goes close but I don't think she's as good as Johnny Corleone and I think the opposition has improved since then too.

Race 13 -- Ribblesdale Stakes -- £150000 -- Ascot -- Flat -- 1m4f -- Group 2 -- Fillies -- 3YO -- Good

Act Naturally - Only ran the twice but showed it's class with a 2nd in the Musidora, Think this is trainers 2nd string at this distance as didn't go to the Oaks.
Badzilla - Put up one good piece of form when 2nd in a 0-90 but that is far and away from the form needed here.
Beaucaire Starstudded - Newcomer for Colin Clarke, trainer thinks she'll stay further so best watched.
Indian Cranatat - Another newcomer for a trainer going places this season, could be one to keep an eye on for later in the season.
Jules Jewel - Again another trainer flying up the ranks this season with a newcomer but again best watched at this level.
Knight Of Secrets - Good form in the bank with the best coming in the Oaks when 4th, 12f seems to be the right distance and should run her race.
Musical Shredder - Newcomer Joshua Sutherland chucks this one right in at the deep end on first assignment, watching brief.
Order Of St George Li - Interesting entry for this race, won a maiden over 1m6f. Ran a furlong shorter latest but was well outpaced and she'll need further.
Swell Gal - Comes into the race with the best form for heavyweight trainer Stephen Rann, some great progression going from Listed to winning the Musidora to just falling short in the Oaks, should gain compensation here.

Both Knight Of Secrets and Act Naturally have big chances in this race but both need to turn around the form with the favourite SWELL GAL. She has run to G1 level and should gain compensation for that Oaks loss. I can't see the former 2 being outside of the places either unless a newcomer throws up a shock.

1st - Swell Gal
2nd - Act Naturally
3rd - Knight Of Secrets

Race 14 -- Ascot Gold Cup -- £350000 -- Ascot -- Flat -- 2m4f -- Group 1 -- Open -- 4+ -- Good

Aveiro - Won a good maiden over 2m2f and plugged away since with best run coming in the Chester Cup when 3rd. Chance but plenty of ground to make up.
Azz De Mei - Trainer was left pondering after the horse couldn't get off the mark until winning the Chester Cup and improving to win a listed race last time over much further, has the class and will stay.
Gates Of Dawn - Won a good standard handicap after some solid maiden performances but disappointed last time out, will need more improvement.
Greylami Roxanne - Won it's maiden very well beating a lot of good horses from the front before staying on for 3rd in the listed race, big chance.
No Class - Considering the trainer and maiden performances you'd think this one would be favourite but it's such a tough race! Disappointed over further and needs to prove stamina.
Satwa Katy - Colin Clarke must be tearing his hair out with this one, ultra-consistent and if any horse deserved this race, this one would be it.
Starzilla Quay - Top horse for a trainer who has an affinity with the race with a winner and a 2nd. Won a good handicap last time and the step up in trip will suit but needs more improvement.
Twin Oaks - Consistent in handicaps around this trip but needs masses of improvement to win this.
Whole In One - Top trainer Stephen Rann is taking a pot shot on the stamina of this horse, won a good graded race but it's doutbful his stamina will last.

It's such a tight race and surely the centrepiece of the festival. Every single horse has a chance but for me the people's horse, the try hard for rookie Colin Clarke would send the Ascot crowd into a frenzy and SATWA KATY deserves this day in the sun. Azz De Mei has the class to be up there as well as Greylami Roxanne with Aveiro, No Class and Starzilla Quay also not far behind.

1st - Satwa Katy
2nd - Azz De Mei
3rd - Greylami Roxanne
