I'm very happy, only played 25 seasons to get some real breeding into my horses and i always excel in stayers.

Good luck everyone.

As expected, a complete bunch of donkeys in Rowandale Stables. Two 5th places from 800 runners is not a great start!!

Trainer P Tweddle was unofficially heard to say "BLEEP BLEEP BLEEP I'm gonna have to play more than than 8 seasons I've done already." Other trainers were also heard to say "Tweddle? didn't he used to be quite good at this game"

Still, even though my horses run like they had lead boots on, they still ran faster than the real ones which had my money on them at Cheltenham this week

Started off with 2nd place in the first five races on Tuesday (singles doubles trebles acca's etc) and if possible got worse as the week went on.

Next year I will be taking Cheltenham week off and plan to spend it in a cave in Outer Mongolia with a large crate of Magners Cider!!

Certainly no difference between Manual or Simple training being used. Winners have been produced in the past from both methods.

I can't prove it, but I don't think the difficulty level has any bearing on league performance. Difficulty will only affect how your personal game pans out. So long as you breed good horses, with other good horses, whether you play easy or hard mode, the results should be the same.

No one believes in the standard training more then I do Hurricane colm will tell you, it's down to a lot of things mate, this would be the first time I have ever played the game in simple training mode and worked it up to "38 seasons", my horses all have a duck eggs beside their names lol, don't be disheartened you guys you are no quiters are you? I sure hope not, you just got to get back in that game of yours and try other ways, and believe me there are lots of them, one of the ways that plays a big role in my game is when you start a fresh game make sure that you go and check the world records times try and get on a game that is the fastest times, for example, what is the quickest time for 5f in your game? and when you do, try and beat that time with your sprinters, same goes to all the distances, you will find an improvement in your horses so when your horses lose in the league, they are not to far from the winners, shites!! I got carried away again, rush77, where are you mate, me full stop isn't working again

I’m happy with my three wins and six seconds, could have been better but not a bad start. Well done to crazyboy with his massive ten wins, and well done to new trainer Scatters, but question for you Mr Scatters, why didn’t you enter most of your horses? Was there a problem?

To be honest I made the mistake of not entering some of those horses in the US league where they would have raced. I registered all my horses in the UK league and not the US league. Now I have doubled up on various distances hence can't race them.

Congrates to all that raced.

I can't take to much credit on week 1 winners as I believe I'm an average trainer. I just happen to stumble across a few very good sires and mares in game to breed with. I'm sure as the breeding continues the better trainers will rise to the top, but very happy with the result.

My main goal this season is to win the Golden Jubilee back to back. I have to thank jay for helping me last season.

Thanks to all who work behind the scenes

CrazyBoy is doing so good it's, well crazy!

Playing in both UK and US and doing only 29 seasons I think I'm struggling for depth, and I got no stayers.

I'm feeling a little unfortunate today. 0 wins, 3 seconds, 3 thirds, 2 fourths and a fifth.

Not to mention one of mine won by 2 lengths, then the results came up and I was fourth, I'm like wtf!? (then realised it was the 'mystery problem')

cheers JC. No im definitly not gunna quit on it, im gunna keep going till i get some winners.
i definitly have horses you have record times at different distances. I have one horse who has 25g1s and has never lost. she has broken 12 course records at 1m to 1m2f so she is my hope really. I have her exported from 2yo to 5yo so that she can be in my league squad for a while. so hopefully she will be my best.

I must get award for worst start possible! :(

14 seasons done and didnt have much time to trial! Big mistake i think. Entered some horses blind  but will defo make more time for trials later in season. Stable can only improve, ran most of my horses and there finish positions were as follows:

15/19
20/20
11/15
11/15
16/19
7/15
24/25
15/23
11/30
16/21
10/20
18/21
16/19
and the best i got was 7/29

Biggest thing i noticed was my horses just could not go the pace of most of the others. Will have to tackle this first i think.
Big congrats to all winning and placed trainers, some very nice horses on show the first week, see you at the track next week looking forward to it!Thank you also to all involved with this fantastic league its the BEST!

From that description it doesn't sound as if you're testing your horses in the CK. Game times and ability of horses in the game itself aren't relevant, only when you test your horses in the CK can you get any idea of how good they are. I've sold off more g1 winners than I can count because they simply weren't doing it in the CK. As an example my best time in the game at Dubai for the 6f Golden Shaheen race is by a horse called Daylight Robbery with a time of 1:6.86 but in the CK it couldn't beat most of my other horses like Killing Zone which won a 6f race this week in the league, the time Killing Zone had for the same Dubai race in the game was 1:8.03. If I relied on game times I would have got rid of Killing Zone and kept Daylight Robbery and by doing so would have shot myself in the foot. You must test your horses in the CK and you must ignore game times. Hope this helps!

Ahh...I'll be damned, well thanks for the tip CrazyBoy, that's one thing I didn't do now you put it that way it's a must from now on for my horses, a trial for all my horses in the CK before my horses leave for the league olympics, why the way my horses are racing at the moment in the leagues is hideous to say the least, the no good quiters are hailing a taxi as soon as they jump out of the gates.
