cant remember which thread its on but i wrote something similar to scotty about enjoying this season and then looking forward to next season.
why does it seem to be the case that people piss and moan about the league not being up and running when its not and then pissing and moaning about it when it is running!! Just enjoy it and enjoy it again next time when ,yes, it will be slightly better. I thought my last tv was good, but the one i have now is better. the next one i get will be even better than this one!!
The posts on here are becoming a joke!! Im enjoying this season more than last for sure (so that says alot about the job rich is doing), and not just because ive had more winners. Its more open with some cracking races and until now was flowing really well, enjoyable comms, a few of us involved in the tipster competition, people gambling on the horses. I think no matter who runs this league will get stick, some people obviously had something against rich as soon as he was chosen and wont let it go . i dont think a season will ever go by without arguments on here over something stupid like handicapping.
I agree a horse like speedito isnt correctly rated and could run in a handicap, but so what!!??doubt john will put him in one. and even if he did so what, all the races are fun and, especially in the nhc, can be quite unpredictable. alot of the new trainers are really enjoying their first experience of the league. I know a trainer like Joe is a bit frustrated at his horses 'arse-chasing' but he should realise in my first season i dreamed of having a horse like To The Rescue. They are all enjoying it , even Matt who has stated that he would like to shoot his horses.
Anyway nothing scotty, myself, or anyone else says is gunna stop all this nonsense - just something the league will have to put up with. its as if some people want the league to have 100 races each week for each league when that obviously isnt possible. and if some of the pattern races are excluded for more maidens then people will moan about that.
I agree with you 100% Ryan.
I am enjoying the league a lot, and I havent had a winner or a 2nd place yet, just a couple of 3rds.
Keep up the good work Rich and co.
Matt
P.s Ryan, dont you sleep man, look at time you posted your last post
