i was also under the impression that you could enter both the 4m2 and the MM race this week. i can sort of understand the higher rated horses not entering the MM as they'll have a huge weight won't they?
I don't think my horse will stay the extra 2f, seemed to have trouble close to home in the national. but i only entered the 4m2 race during the week when i saw that TOM would only let me enter one or the other. I assumed that I would be in the MM regardless but now looks like this isn't the case....

sorry guys but my hands are tied I have no control over what happens in the league Im just a trainer like most of you..
i was hoping for the race to be ran on the Sat but it is now in for Friday
I cannot help that....i am planning to revise the weights so there aint no huge h'caps to overcome after the races close Rich has given me that option i plan to base it on 11-12 top weight and 10St bottom
with the race being 0-180 i think it should mean less weight carried
for the top horses and with it being over GN C&D you need all the help you can get as there are obstacles enough in the race itself
There was no way we could run it in an extra week(18) as the season ends in week 17 so the race had to be this week(17) if Rich can hold it over to the Sat or Sun of next week that would be a gr8 help but with the problems with dbl entries is causing if the race gets off then gr8
so i dont expect miracles if they cannot happen then so be it
was a little down when i wrote that response last night so plz excuse me that one faux pas...think i deserve a pass now n then
im very happy that the race is going forward as it has been a big thing for me after last season's no race..that the race would be here this year
plz dont let the weight make you avoid the race as im got it sorted
but if your horse has a better chance in the Iron then go for it
i will now sponsor that race for 10m so the 1st 8 home will get PM k!
in the Iron Championship...
gl whatever you do and hope to see you all next season....

I would have loved to have done it on the Saturday but then I realised what a monumental pain in the backside it would be to manually set things up and you wouldn't have got the credit you deserved for competing.
The good news is that Paul is setting the weights to give everyone the fairest opportunity.
We'll make the perfect schedule next season

as far as i am aware Del if you have 2 horses qualified
for the final this week then both will run the 2nd entry is being done
by Rich manually as TOM wont allow it via the entry stage
he will enter them l8r in the week m8 ...ok?
gl m8

Rich has apologised but it aint possible Ryan
only way would have been an extra week of NHC season
but its too late for that ..
I was happy that trainers entered either of the races as 4m4f is extreme and a hard course to complete in but the spectacle solved that for me after this season's cracking Grand National and it is fitting that the race itself is at Aintree over C&D of the GN
i have sponsored the Iron as well to the tune of 10m with PM now going down to 8th place
i apologised for feeling down about the Final as it is important to me
probably one of the last things i'll do for NHC..i have passed my diagnosis by an extra year and touchwood i'll keep passing it but it will end eventually so im living each day as my last and the MM race was high on my agenda of things to do on my bucket list
im happy the race goes forward with a decent entry
and with PM of 30m now set it should be a gr8 race
GL everyone
