This is one of the reason I stop having runners in the league, when you read posts like this you start to suspect trainers are up to no good and you become paranoid and it was just spoiling the game for me, I got great pleasure out of watching my horses run but the bickering was so childish IMO.

I'm looking forward to SO5 and I will have some runners in the league but I won't be putting hours of game play in, the league is meant to be fun but its not at the moment, I hope it gets back to how it was when I first started playing in the league fun and enjoyable

If it became totally transparent, in other words as soon as anyone was found out to be doing wrong an email was sent to EVERY trainer in the league and not only a select few were informed then there would be no instances of it leaking out. Its the finding from 3rd or 4th parties that makes everyone even more suspicious.

These posts are really a waste of time. You get cheats in all walks of life. As long as they kicked out its good enough for me. The majority of people have put major time into playing the game. I for one have played over 400 seasons. And I am happy with any winner.

Things seemed to have been dealt with well enough. None of Hurricanes horses were entered in week 2. Its the bickering posts that drive most people crazy.

Its best to concentrate on the positive things and this will improve the league. It looks like been an exciting season especially with things like the Paul Moore Challenge and I will make sure there are write ups every week. I am sure when people get into the season more write ups will follow.

As for handicaps this has always been a problem in the league. Its not the good horses that are the problem as its almost impossible to win handicap of top weight. Its the ones run over wrong distances to get a mark that does not reflect its ability so as long as people stick to their distances this won't be an issue and almost every trainer will win races. And winning any race in the league is enjoyable.

Davylad suggestions regarding handicaps seemed good but I am sure all will work out ok. There was no handicapper in NH last season and the season worked fine. I'm sure the flat will be fine. Here's to a good season and hopefully people can channel their writing skills into doing some write ups rather than bickering posts.

Rich, 1: I have fully been behind you since day 1, 2: I only have 3 Group 1 wins in 6 Seasons, 3: It was a jokey rant, what it kind of mean't to say was I don't care if people are cheating in the league as everyone can still have winners... I really don't care about this malarkey and probably shouldn't have said anything, I just want to race same as everyone else, I'm a Chelsea fan, I was in a bad mood, it probably came out wrong. Please elaborate Colin.......Its rather unfair to pop up after over a year and basically accuse some people of cheating, by your statement you also suggest you know who they are.
This is bound to cause trouble which may be unfounded.

I never make statements that are not unfounded, no point in naming names- what's the point?
The league has corrupt players but what can you do?...there is no prize money, it's not life or death-it's a game but it's sad people will cheat to gain an advantage.
It's like the Italian economy, you clean up the mafia and the country collapses..That is the dliemma and why nothing is done...

I'm a first year player in this league, I read all these posts about cheating and what not but I mostly just ignore it all.

We have been through this before. Perennially banging on about the same issue is campaigning and against the rules of this forum so I'm locking it.

Changes were made in the kit so certain methods of cheating can be highlighted. Even if anyone were still cheating as suggested (using hex editors in a way net yet detectable) they will probably be found at at some point as improvements are regularly made to the kit and the rules are now clear - cheats are banned. For good. If someone enjoyed the league enough to play but still cheated would they run the risk of eventually being outed, shamed and banned for no profit at all? It would be rank stupidity.
