 Re: Winter Derby
Three runs for handicapping?
Have the rules been updated?
I cant have runners in Dubai, at least the G1's, as none of my horses have ran yet.
As for champion trainer 80% of my horses were bred last year, so i doubt it.
Some are Australian bred, is that allowed?

 Re: Winter Derby
As far as I'm aware (and unless it causes problems in TOM) then you can debut horses in Listed/G3/G2 races if you need to but you will be given an inflated rating for doing so, so would be advisable not to run handicappers in these races but I guess you won't have handicappers.

At present you can in NH but not on the flat (g2/g3). It will require me to temporarily change the race codes for the flat. or move the g2/g3 to the same code as listed races which unraced horses can enter( Sorry i got mixed up which one of the flat and NH allowed this) If there is enough support I can do it for week 2 and 3

Gray Quote: Some are Australian bred, is that allowed? let things go Matt Please Once again the rules need to be clearly stated and stickied on the forum. Or we could end up with a situation like we did halfway through last season where someone abuses the rules and goodwill of the league. In other posts Leon has said there are no changes to flat rules except stayers can run over any distance over 2m if competing in a 2m+ maiden. That is confusing and misleading for new trainers and for those that dont read every single thread? I have no intention of running Rapid Headway once then heading straight for Australia. I will be able to run him four or five times before winning in Melbourne. I missed the smiley off the Australia comment, just trying to make a joke. Good luck in the Guineas. I know you've worked hard to win one of those.

I wasn't aware of any rule changes but can wait for listed races if need be.
